yeah with D Lo, Cauley-Stein and Looney playing. Spurs barely beat them without 3 starters. Huge difference

Murray carrying the Spurs in OT was fun, but yeah overall tonight was just another embarrassing moment to add to an embarrassing season.
He’s less credible then people on this website lol but Clan the spurs fan posted on his Instagram story that there’s a rumor from an OKC source that a 3 team trade was discussed between the spurs, OKC, and the warriors... I’m 99% sure it’s nothing but it’s interesting none the less
I think he was laughing with Mike Brown because he knew the play the Spurs were running and he blew it up.
Why are Forbes and Mills still playing more minutes than Derrick and Dejounte and why is Marco playing more than LWIV? What is Pop trying to prove, that he is such a great coach that he can win with the worse backcourt in NBA history?

Never a fan of Forbes playing over anyone, but he was hitting his shots. Mills was excellent. Walker was ahead of the rotation of Beli but he picked up a bad 4th foul. He really needed to sit. Besides, Beli did well for 10mins.

I’m sure Spurs are rolling with this group. I think they’ve made the turn and just need to improve. Walker would be playing more minutes over Beli, while LMA would be shooting more 3’s to open the lanes. It’s not championship but can contend if they can maximize the Murray/White/Lonnie combination, with Demar and Aldridge. Pop played this towards the end of regulation. White/Lonnie/Aldridge need to shoot 3’s consistently and this could be a dangerous line-up imo
The NBA has decided to try and punish Pop back to good coaching. Bad coaching equals bad calls.
Almost 2020 and Pop still sucking Wombat and Ferrari off to the detriment of the young guns. Shoulda won by 20 tonight.
If no trades are made before the deadline, then pop just nuked the franchise. The spurs might never recover. No FA stars are signing here so have to acquire good young talent through trades or the draft. Although this years draft sucks so would rather acquire them in a trade. The FAs this offseason aren’t very good anyway so letting DDR leave for nothing just gives you money for bad FAs. Total fail if that’s where we end up.

Pop and the FO will probably use that extra money to over pay for a couple of washed up veterans and will overpay poetl. Probably Teague, Biyombo, Parsons, Ibaka or Millsap.

Sorry. No inside info. His body language in games, giving the stink eye to the coaches in games where he’s benched, the continuous losing, being blamed by fans for some of the losing, and the spurs not offering an extension. All of this hurts his fragile ego. Unless the spurs offer him the max I don’t see him staying

I dont think this will give us much cap room. It would give us more room to sign our own FA without hitting the Tax but I think we would be left with MLE if DDR leaves.
