Solid leadership we didn't get as Obama was giving cash infusions to Iran's terrorism programs.President Trump spoke publicly about Soleimani's death for the first time on Friday at a press conference in Palm Beach, Florida.
"Soleimani was plotting imminent and sinister attacks on American diplomats and military personnel, but we caught him in the act and terminated him," Mr. Trump said.
"For years the Islamic Revolutionary military Guard Corps and its ruthless Quds Force under Solemani's leadership has targeted, injured and murdered hundreds of American civilians and serviceman," he said. "The recent attacks on U.S. targets in Iraq -- including rocket strikes that killed an American and injured four American servicemen very badly, as well as a violent assault on our American embassy in Baghdad -- were carried out at the direction of Soleimani."
He said what the U.S. did yesterday "should have been done long ago."
"We took action last night to stop a war," he said. "We did not take action to start a war."
Sounds to me like he knows precisely how they work.

You're right about some things. Where we will differ is if your society will do anything about it. Not to be a pessimist, but a realist, we live in a society where words are stronger than action. We hear how a lot of people feel because access to mass audiences is the most accessible thing on the planet, but compare it to the most similar time in Murican history; the 60s.
There wasnt social media. People didnt grandstand, but the action- the protesting, the riots, the real fight- was being fought in much, much larger numbers than we see now. The ing Boomers. LOLz, go figure. The irony is tremendous, too.
Consider our population was basically half the size then as well and it's just funny to me how we hear so much and see so little. Proportionately, our social media generation is showing we're mostly bark. We need bite to actually "do" something.
