Search for the word "victory" in my posts. It's not difficult.

I think the guy should have been killed long ago. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Hezbolla leader instructed not to touch american covilians but americans in uniform are fair game

Iraqi resistance will not let a single US soldier stay in Iraq after the killing of the Iranian Quds force commander, Nasrallah said in a televised speech on Sunday.

The Hezbollah leader, however, warned against harming any American civilians, as such acts will only play into the hands of US President Donald Trump, adding that every US military asset and serviceman in the region is fair game.
    A contractor was killed.
    Your ruling?

I'm asking you if you are hailing this as a victory.

A simple yes or no will do.

If you can actually answer that way.

    In what way, be specific
Specifically the hundreds of posts you have made about this killing are pretty much all defending it and Trump's decision to execute it.

Feel free to specifically link any of your posts criticizing or raising any concerns about the killing or Trump's actions. I may have missed it.

Pootin is Not Happy With His Puppet

Russia's Foreign Ministry has condemned the U.S. assassination of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Qassem Soleimani, warning Thursday's strike would only escalate regional tensions and make life worse for millions of people.

The Russian Foreign Ministry released a separate statement condemning the assassination and warning of possible subsequent fallout.

"Washington's step is fraught with grave consequences for regional peace and stability," the ministry said.

Russia's Lavrov, Iran's Zarif discuss Soleimani killing: statement
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif over the phone on Friday to discuss the killing of Iran's military chief Qassem Soleimani, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.

"Lavrov expressed his condolences over the killing," the statement said.

"The ministers stressed that such actions by the United States

grossly violate the norms of international law."

the Russian foreign ministry openly suggested a “wag the dog” scenario:

The Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, linked the timing of the attack to the coming U.S. presidential election,

“Everyone should remember and understand that U.S. politicians have their interests,

considering that this year is an election year.”

Russia had been working closely with Suleimani personally on Syria:

How Iranian general plotted out Syrian assault in Moscow (Oct 2015)

Major General Qassem Soleimani’s visit to Moscow was the first step in planning for a Russian military intervention that has reshaped the Syrian war and forged a new Iranian-Russian alliance in support of Assad.

As Russian warplanes bomb rebels from above, the arrival of Iranian special forces for ground operations underscores several months of planning between Assad’s two most important allies, driven by panic at rapid insurgent gains.

The meeting was requested by Putin himself:

Khamenei also sent a senior envoy to Moscow to meet President Vladimir Putin, another senior regional official said.

“Putin told him ‘Okay we will intervene. Send Qassem Soleimani’. He went [sic] to explain the map of the theater.”

Russia wants to control the Middle East, and

while it doesn’t mind chaos and war in Syria, it does want a stable Iran.

It definitely does NOT want a hot war on its southern border.

Trash finally destroys one of Obama's major accomplishments, Obama being a much better deal maker than Trash

After U.S. kills Suleimani, Iran announces it will no longer abide by limits of 2015 nuclear deal

"Anything to do with" != "caused by"

Cause vs correlation. Sure the political environment in the US would have an effect on decisions made at the top. The same is true for both sides. If Obama hit this guy instead, the left would be hailing it as a victory. Let's not pretend this isn't clearly divided down party lines. Right and wrong doesn't favor party lines.

While there's a real tension about escalation with Iran, there's also a palpable fear from the left that Trump might gain in the polls due to this strike. They have to downplay it as a political move. That's a dangerous game, but we've seen these politicians have no boundaries.
There is a larger palpable political fear by team Trump imo, therefore taking an action that outweighs what we have been given as reason for the attack so far. He backed off on our captured sailors and hormuz drone mess. But now we all of the sudden have bigger problems and we are free to accept this from a WH that lies at every turn.

Lying has consequences as to everything this WH does. ‘But, but it’s not illegal...’ No it may not be. But good luck with normal people trusting your motives.

That's just it, we don't have "bigger problems". We have fewer problems. Iran was never friendly to the US, not in the past what, 40 years? You cannot say eliminating the most wanted terrorist in the world (per US listings) creates a bigger problem. You're just more aware of it now. You probably had no idea who this guy was or what the situation was on the ground. You just seem to be riding the fear train with the left.

I'd say it is. But it will still get a response. The line between terrorist acts and military acts is blurred more daily. The addition of civilian contractors carrying firearms on the front lines makes it even more blurred.

Im asking why we are picking fights now compared to just a short time ago.
From what has been released so far, I see not much more than has already occurred.
And again, this guy has been in our sites and apparently could have been targeted way before now.

Im am far more leery of this administration because it has lied so easily and casually about so many things that did not even need to be lied about.
In fact, if one does not question the timing of this particular incident, then we are not serious about holding this president accountable to explain himself.
Acting like you are being picked on when lies just pour out of your mouth is not an excuse. All presidents should be scrutinized very closely. This one lies to create confusion and the appearance of being treated unfairly. Thats just snowflaking out with all the lies.

I dont like being told yes when the truth is no over and over again. Lying has consequences.
