Damn, is the Spurs cursed, everytime a player seems to start developing to be a NBA player they got injured. (Murray, White, Lonnie and now Metu)
Metu was leading the fast break and took an awkward step at the move to the rim
Basically a stupid injury. Metu leading the fast break?
Metu was walking ok on the hand shake after the game

It was a Tragic Johnson thing. Big dude dribbling down the middle with dudes all around. As he gathered he just crumpled down.
I was worried he did a DJM
That's a shame. They guy has put on some muscle and has shown some signs of actually being able to play in the big league.
Damn I hate hearing that. He's been showing some real improvement, and I always root for the G-League guys. I think someone mentioned last game that he tweaked a knee, but came back. I hope it's something that will be better after a week or two off. I sure don't like hearing that he had trouble getting off the court. With a big guy you always think metatarsal.
Thanks friend. I really appreciate the effort you put into keeping the forum apprised of what's happening with the Junior Varsity.![]()
I had nothing but trouble. I got far enough to decide it was a routing/load balancing issue and my provider. I found some old posts from a tech who was actually knowledgeable, and thought he might figure it out. Then he disappeared - I don't know if it was coincidence, or if he was giving up info, but I never heard from him again. I finally just gave up. I hate ESPN.
I'll be interested to see if yours gets better.
If you have a TV, try a Roku. Never had a problem. Gonna resubscribe soon; will let know if there are any issues.
Reminds me of Derrick White in last year's game 3. Just kept scoring at the rim.
Yeah, there is some definite talent there. In fact, I have been very impressed with Metu in the few clips I have seen of him and his few appearances in SA. He looks like a different player this season - physically as well as skill-wise. He seems to have added some good muscle and he seems to have matured quite a bit in the game. I hope the injury is mild, and he rehabs quickly. I am really rooting for the guy. And, of course, Keldon. Guy's at ude is better than anybody else in the entire organization. Anyhow, thanks, again.
Nice job on the edit. Really interesting season for Austin, I've been catching some of their games and they play surprisingly solidly for a GL team. Metu and Keldon (and hope Luka) better get on those HGH treatments, every player in the league is on that nowadays and Silver is clearly more interested in ratings than rules, and hormone treatments reduce injury risk, shorten recovery times and help players develop into muscle masses that leap out the gym.
By the way, thanks for the video on Metu's injury; it didn't look as bad as I thought when reading the original tweet, though of course things like ACL or plantar injuries aren't immediately obvious. Any word on his status yet?
Spurs play tonight at 7:30

Thanks, Ace, for the constant updates, videos, stories, etc. You really are one of the gems here on ST.
The bar is pretty low, though. All you have to be is non-hysterical.
Nothing outside of 2 feet for Keldon.
Luka seems like he is dragging his steps-like his legs are fatigued.
I get the props for Keldon being a hound dog-just not sure he’s gonna be able to get all that at the rim in the big boy league.
Pretty sure he will.
Yeah, he's got he build to finish at the rim. He'll get some blocked, but once he learns to throw that big body into the shot blocker, he'll finish just fine in the NBA.
