That was never going to happen, seeing as how CP0 quit on them.
LMA shooting bombs lately for the Spurs.
Last 10 games: 26-42
That hot shooting can't continue for long. But I do wonder if the Spur's have finally figured out you must shoot the long ball in today's game. Even seen Defrozen shooting some lately.
That was never going to happen, seeing as how CP0 quit on them.
LeBron serving up another cup of STFU to the haters.
Doncic fell off a cliff last night. The was up with his jersey rip. And the constant whining to the refs for every single call.
he should be ripping his jersey every game for the last month for how he is being treated by the refs.
No Lebron
no AD
no Danny
Back to back
OKC has been hot AF
up 20 all ing game. What a ing win let’s go !!!!!
Probably the most satisfying win of the season so far.
Second game of a back to back, on the road, against a playoff team and without Lebron and AD. Lakers got an early lead and hit timely shots throughout the entire game, to withstand OKC's attempts to comeback.
WE STACKED![]()
I often on Kuzma but gotta give him credit, the kid is ballin' out in AD's absence, when a lot of people (myself included) expected him to fold.
If he gives the Lakers even just half of what he did tonight, efficiently and on a regular basis, i like the Lakers chances.
Solid W tbh. 2nd night of a B2B roadie vs 2 playoff teams. No Bron this time and still no Brow. No DG either. And they took it to OKC in their barn? Impressive.
We got Cavs coming up. AD should sit that one too. Bron probably will play vs his old team tho.
I expect Brow back vs Orlando on Weds as a tune up before we go to battle vs the Rockets next Saturday.
Kuz could give some games like this if he had the requisite minutes, but he essentially plays the same position as AD.
B2B games on the road, he averaged 31.5ppg, 5.5rpg and 1apg (). He is proving to be valuable.
Sure it's trade season, but let's not forget this dude got hurt during the Summer, he's in a new role (6th man on a playoff team vice lotto team), new system, and he's still knocking off rust. He had no training camp either so he's still playing catchup.
I think we need to keep Kuz.
Rondo went off tonight too. I still want Collision just so the Clipps don't get him.
Some interesting matchups in the next couple of weeks. A few road games against playoff teams the Lakers haven't played yet (76ers, Celtics, Rockets), plus the 3rd game vs the Clippers. Also, a few games in between where the Lakers can rest players, if they decide to go that route.
Lakers 6 toughest schedule up to date
Milwaukee EASIEST.
couple games apart. I like that
Doc will still make the Nuggets look like the greatest team in NBA history tomorrow.
The last time the Warriors came to Memphis, they had a 7 game losing streak. The Warriors blew the Grizzlies out on their home floor. Got destroyed by Alec Burks and the Warriors" other no namers and made Marquese Chriss, who's not even in the league right now, look like a monster on both ends.
Today the Warriors are coming to Memphis on a 7 game losing streak.
OKC beat plenty teams at full strength great wins down AD ten later Bron and DG...
I think Rondo can't keep up tat level but given shots and mins Kuzma absolutely can... Problem is he only will with injuries
I think (hope) last night was a turning point for Kuz. I saw Rondo looking for him. I saw his midrange game and 3ball. Tear drops. Getting loose after solid D39 screens - and shooting with confidence.
He had his "rookie season repertoire" of moves/shots going. I think (hope) this is sustainable (not 36 points; consistent threat to get buckets) if he is option 1 on the 2nd unit.
Taking out AD, Bron and DG to see what Kuz could do (during trade season no less) forced him to show what he can do. Kuz came out swinging and it was beautiful to see
BTW, Kuz went off on the vaunted Clipper perimeter defenders too - before the Lakers inexplicably went away from him in the 2nd half.
laker fans making the 7th seed OKC sound like the 96 Bulls.
Yet, you lost to them recently in Fat Antonio, while the Lakers role players dominated them in Oklahoma![]()
If you didn’t tell me I wouldn’t know the spurs aren’t very good his year.
You’re like a fountain of basketball knowledge.
Lou Williams has to go. its 4-5 on defense out there.
No but they have Beata lot of good teams and the Spurs. Kuzma had a good game for a young player
If he was a Spurs upstairs he would be called a future all star... No one is saying that we are just hoping he develops in to a solid third guy...
As a said years ago rich man Horry on offense but homeless man Horry on defense... Trading him for Rox for your beloved Elliott would have been a huge mistake. Lakers should be careful... Not saying he can be as clutch as Big Shot Rob but I think he can be a bigger and better scorer.
s are known bandwagoners, so i'm not surprised you've stopped watching your team at the first sign of struggle, after 2 decades of playoffs
