I realize you're trolling, but I've seen this ad nauseam, including from some Spurs fans pretending it wasn't as big a deal as it was.

It completely misses the point. It wasn't about whether the puke wanted to play here or play in L.A. in order to receive more credit and fame, it was about his disgusting actions which intentionally tanked his value and tried to sully the hard earned reputation of this organization, leaving them to choose from a variety of terrible options.

Had he gone about it like a professional and they ended up with a haul like the Pelicans did Davis, I'd have no problem with him.

You did not specify any series, and certainly not the Thunder series.

neph was the Alpha. Pop routinely ran isos for him at the top of the key in crunchtime situations. He was clearly the closer. And his stats the entire season prove that. If LMA got more touches in one series then that showed that the Thunder merely took him out of the game when Spurs needed him most, after being the go to guy the entire season.

Davis didn't hide halfway across the country, refuse to play while healthy, withhold medical information and have his sleazebag uncle say he'd only re-sign in L.A.

At trying to justify his disgusting behavior with their personnel moves. As bad as those were, at the time he quit they were coming off a season where they were either the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league.
