Tied at half against a team that’s 17-1 at home, I’ll take it

Forbes leading the team in FGA at half
He's part of our new Big 3. It happens. Tony shot more than Timmy and Manu sometime too.

Wow Pop played Murray and White for 3.7 seconds. I guess that's what he meant when he said he wants to play them together more
Pop prioritizing defense and wanting to actually get a stop . I call that progress

Spurs are playing pretty well. Let's get some positive energy flowing towards Miami for the Spurs. We can win this.

Much better in the 2nd. A lot of points in the paint with DeRozan doing his thing and the defense just allowed off the dribble 3pt shots, and secured the rebound.

Now defense is fine, shooting is ok and it's a matter of Murray and White playing better, especially in defense. Will they allow Nunn and Dragic to score another 8 treys, 32 pts in a half?

Spurs would be curbstomping the Heat if it wasnt for that Nunn kid having the game of his life so far. Not bad considering only LAL has beaten Miami at home so far

Notice how much dejounte is sagging off his man just to help Bryn Forbes smh
And people wonder why DJ's defensive stats are down. He's playing 1 on 2 whenever defending next to ing trash Forbes. The most baffling about this is how Pop not only continues to start, but play heavy minutes with Forbes no matter how bad he is. Just unexplainable

That's a fact. No one would know he was good, because he'd be in Austin.

Lyles got that great offensive board, and Forbes pissed it away with the airball.

I like the way DDR is playing. I don't like the way other players are deferring to him all the time.

Bro why does this piece of play so much? Why is he so untouchable? All he does is get burned on defense. Shoots 30% on offense.

Gives up 2-3 backdoor cuts per game and Pop does't even bat an eyelash. If Lonnie, White, or Murray give up one they're benched.

He was a charity case with 10 kids coming from a school RC has connections to, and was just good enough in practice for Pop to latch on. Pop fell in love and has been ever since. Simple.

Well, yeah. Those guys are pretty good.

It also doesn't help that Murray is always cleaning up the turd Formes' messes.

It's like no matter how many consecutive mistakes, how many low effort and piss poor offensive and defensive possessions, Pop is just unable to take Forbes off the floor... I'm starting to think this is kind of those situations where the son of a coach is in a team coached by his dad, and despite the kid playing awful he gets every play run for him
