The thing that struck me most was the using of veterans and their families as props. Happens every year, but the oncamera reunion thing was cruel to the wife, IMO. Reality show president probably thought it was a good idea to ramp it up to 11. (rolls eyes)

It especially annoys me when the guy who pardons war criminals, fires people who try to hold war criminals to account, and actively says he wants to order our armed forces to commit war crimes does it. He appeals to his base, just like all politicians do. I'll never believe that politicians go to Washington with the same morals and intent they had when they first entered the ring. Trump isn't trained enough, and is really stupid, to hide his ugliness the way a life-time politician could.
Essentially, really stupid people can be made into Presidents who can hold decorum under their Administrations, so long as they're trained. Look at Dubya.
For better or worse, Trump has embraced the concept of internet success gimmicks. He knows he's only really talking to his base, and was swinging for the fences on black votes. This is good news for black voters - that the dems cannot take their vote for granted, however if the dems don't shed some of that ancient, dusty decorum that the new generation finds cardboard and boring, they are going to fall behind even further. No way a career politician ever adapts the clickbait style rhetoric and antics Trump uses. Bloomberg won't use it either. These are 80 year olds using 80 year old methods.

That blacks need to get to work, but, he called them to action after he cited & praised Trump for his accomplishments that help the blacks...jobs, prison reform, business zones. Jones wants in essence to thwart that (help) that progress. Jones wants Americans to cut off their nose to spite their face because it's Trump helping them.
MSM want to corral Trump away from the Internet & to the teleprompter. Their desperation to get him off Twitter has gotten to the point of embarrassment. He ain't goin. MSM can't keep up with him & it drives them to distraction & to the same (behaviors) that they blame him for. & he doesn't mind the incoming. Most people can't genuinely take it. He can. It's part of the deal.
