the company that built the faulty app was backed by a wealthy donor who supports the candidacy of Pete Buttigieg and is pro-Israel.

On last night’s TruNews broadcast, Wiles and his co-hosts suggested that the caucus results were intentionally delayed and manipulated to benefit Israel.

“The pro-Israel owner of the Times of Israel newspaper, he’s backing sexual mayor Pete Buttigieg,

and he’s the money man behind this app?” Wiles asked his co-host, Doc Burkhart.

“Are you suggesting the Israelis are influencing the election to have the Democrats nominate its first openly sexual presidential candidate?”

“What happened last night was weird, and we have already pointed out there is an Israeli connection,” Wiles said later in the program.

“They might accuse me of being anti-Semitic for saying it, but

the truth is there is an Israeli connection to the app that bombed last night in Iowa.

But you’re not allowed to say these things.

Clues About Funding

Founded in 2017, Acronym is a 501(c)(4) “social welfare” nonprofit, meaning that it’s not required to disclose its donors, so we don’t know who is providing the $75 million that Acronym plans to spend. And Acronym did not respond Sludge’s multiple attempts to ask about its contributors.

We do, however, know about the funding behind Pacronym, which as a super PAC is required to report its funders to the Federal Election Commission.

In the 2018 election cycle, Pacronym received the bulk of its funding ($2 million) from the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, a political nonprofit led by Obama’s first attorney general, Eric Holder. Acronym and Pacronym were largely focused on state legislative races during that cycle.

Pacronym also got $300,000 from Acronym and $50,000 from Dollar Shave Club CEO Michael Dubin, who was an Acronym board member as of mid-2018. Dubin is also on the board of Papa John’s, a company with a rightwing CEO who opposes LGBTQ rights and has co-founded free-market academic centers with the Charles Koch Foundation.

Since 2017, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee has received six- or seven-figure amounts from 23 donors, most of whom are unions or corporate executives, according to Sludge’s review of IRS do ents. Billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros ($2.6 million) and media executive Fred Eychaner ($1.5 million) sit atop the funders, while unions American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME; $572,000), Air Line Pilots Association PAC ($300,000), and Service Employees International Union COPE ($200,000) have also contributed large sums.

Two weeks ago, Drake University Political science professor Dr. Dennis Goldford told WQAD.com you shouldn’t “pay that much attention to the numbers” but instead to the final delegate count.

But eagle-eyed voters have seen all those numbers change multiple times throughout the day, in ways they say don’t make sense.

As results were continuing to be released on Wednesday afternoon, the Iowa Democratic Party said on Twitter that there was a mistake in the results that were being corrected. Within about 30 minutes, the account said the results were corrected.


According to political activist and podcast host Shaun King from New York, several precinct captains publicly said they submitted the votes over 24 hours prior, and they have yet to be reported by the IDP. King called into question why the party had yet to report the numbers.

Several Twitter users were comparing results from Black Hawk County against the Iowa Democratic Party results and asking why the numbers were so different.
