Lol and DeMarre still getting his fall clothes line ready.
If they up the RRT by beating the Kings, I'm going to be pissed.
Lol and DeMarre still getting his fall clothes line ready.
The way this RRT is going so far, by the time they get back to SA at the end of the month, this team will be so far back from the 8th spot that it will be too late and too difficult for them to scratch and claw their way to that point, especially how Memphis, Portland and Zion, oops, the Pelicans are surging right now. These teams will be the ones that
will be fighting in the race for that 8th spot, and the Spurs will be on the outside looking in. Perhaps this team may continue to compete, but the bottom line is, if this team continues on this trend, PATFO will have to realize that the PO picture is out of reach and they need to go ahead and plan for the off season and next season. Lots of unknowns, but hopefully lots of BIG changes (BLOW IT UP!!!) also incoming...![]()
Team is competing well these games, all acceptable L but there are too much dead weight in the standings to carry on. Too many awful games and terrible loses already. In fact, Spurs have been still alive in the playoff contention just because too many teams have been losing too many games. This is absolutely unusual in the Western Conference. Historic stats say you have zero playoff chances in the West if your record has been consistently well under the 0.500 since November.
The Spurs have been playing decent basketball in the last weeks but neither the coaching or players' performance has been good enough in order to figure out how to get wins in tough games. The Ws missing in the standings now, where lost in winnable games all along the season.
It's very hard to imagine this team winning 19 games until the end of the season (31 left) and they would probably need something like that to be in the playoffs.
What happened to this team man
What happened to being smart with the ball. I think about how we used to play, how we would NEVER beat ourselves. If the ball just doesn't go in the hoop but you got the best shot available then so be it. If the opponent just makes ridiculous shot after ridiculous, so be it. But we used to be so fundamental. yes i know big 3 gone, kawhi gone. but man even if you don't have all star talent or you're not big enough or strong enough to do certain things, there is no reason why still shouldn't be able to be fundamentally sound in your game.
-Good to Great on Passes and Shots.
-Not shooting in traffic when 8 or more seconds are left on the shot clock.
-Never forcing up a 3 unless clock is running out.
-Pulling the ball back out during a fast break if you don't have a clear path to the basket
-Making the smart pass vs the "tricky" one unless you're Manu or Boris...dude could pass.
-Controlling the pace.
-Running back in transition
-Driving into a triple team with a plan. (Manu/Parker would do this but would either to try get the foul which they were great at or would dish it out after sucking in the Defense.) If we miss the 3 after passing it out oh well. At least it was a great shot. You live with it.
-Controlling pace/clock when you have the lead in the 4th. Make sure you make only smart shots if you have the lead.
-BALL MOVEMENT, don't let the ball stick.
-Keeping your composure
These things every player can control. Even if you're a young team, you can control these things.
TD, Manu and TP retired..that's what happened...the Spurs success came from having HOF players, not from pop..combined with pops apparent lack of caring and interest in winning or making the necessary changes to make this team compe ive and you have a ty team that is going nowhere until he is out of the decision making process....he's way past his due date.
Anyone saying the upcoming Sac is a must win is mistaken. Plenty of season left. Spurs lost to a back to back against the two best teams then Portland on the road. Bummed they lost all three, but none were easy games. Basketball gods have this team destined to be swept by the Clippers with nephew and Morris.
No. This team's destiny is to fail to reach the playoffs. Not a chance.
Suns and Kings both picked up wins tonight. Spurs are closer to being the 13th seed than being the 8th seed![]()
Grizz beat the Wizards tonight.
How many games back of 8th seed before we see this lineup? #LukaKeldonWhiteWalkerDejounte

Probably not this season
The Blazers also just beat the Heat, which doesn't help us in our push for the playoffs.
Spurs have like a 5% chance of making the playoffs at this point. The real question now is how good of a pick can they get? We should land somewhere between 10-12 I think.
With a loss tonight, they’ll be 9 games under .500 getting closer to being double digits under .500. Go Nuggs!
2 more losses, and if Sacramento, new Orleans and Phoenix win their games this week. Spurs will be the 13th seed by Friday.
spurs winning percentage now is .004 higher than it was in december.
we're trending upwards; we just got to continue pounding the rock
damn you beat me to it![]()
Just two weeks ago Spurs were in the 8th seed (20-23) and Grizzlies 9th seed at 20-24...

Memphis starting to pull away
At the current rate we would not even catch up to Portland.
Wow! Look at the Spurs away record. Is that 8-18 I am seeing? The worst record in that list. And frankly both of Portland and the Pelicans dealt with injuries to key players early in the season and the Grizzlies had injuries as well.

“we’re 100% obsessed” lmao 10 games below .500 and trying to make the playoffs
