Is THAT what they've been calling him? This whole time I thought they were saying "Smarty" and was wondering why the they would call him that
Sparty is an annoying nickname and Elliot is always talking up his muscles and strength.

His hair and debarge mustache. I hate the whole 3 fingers thing from anyone. But especially cheesy Bryn.
His best Bynism is when he’s doing that sitting down thing on the bench.
He was a Michigan State Spartan so Sparty.
When playing "defense"? So frequently? I never saw this before.
Has it been mentioned how he promenades to the bench with his left arm akimbo, like a fashion model on a walkway?
This my be my favorite spurstalk thread in quite some time.
This dude is so incredibly annoying. I loved when one of the Suns (?) announcers dubbed him "fake hustle", diving after a ball he had absolutely no chance to save. I'm sure popovich loved it
I hate how he always jumps when he passes. Stop it please.
I laughed yesterday when I saw him wipe the soles of his shoes getting ready to play defense only to get his pushed in per par.
I hope this got searches the internet for his name, this thread pops up and makes him contemplate whether his life is worth it. Free hint: it’s not bro.
And the Academy Award for Fake Hustle goes to.....
Bryn Forbes....
This is the 805th nomination for Bryn Forbes and his 799th win.
He is the definition of try hard and fail
Anyone notice the clap (looks surprised and disappointed) as the opposing player blows by him for yet another easy layup
Even his breathing is annoying, tbh.
I noticed a sequence at the free-throw line last night that included the shoe sole wipe & an abbreviated sign-of-the-cross; hadn't seen that one before.
It's sad to see that even with all these things he does, hes still better than hairdo and instagram... how embarrassed must they be?
I hate when he ing jumps towards his man when he's playing defense. Like literally hops towards them. Two times stand out from yesterday--once SGA drove right past him and another CP3 did a rip through move and drew a foul.
Who told this scrub playing defense that way is a good idea? That's like fundamental .
Lol, y’all some cold salty MFers
I'd be shocked if he could survive on an NBA roster anywhere but San Antonio other than possibly as an end of the bench, spot minute player. He'll never start for another NBA team...or coach.
This guy should be running in pickup games at Lifetime. At least when I watch him I realize that the NBA dream truly is possible for anyone....absolutely anyone.
After paying closer attention the past few games, it appears that Forbes refuses to leave his man in the corner even when The most basic type of defense requires a rotation or need to cut off another player's penetration into the lane. He just stands and leaves the rest of the team hanging out to dry.
Cos the dude has feet of stone on top of everything else. If you watch, you'll see drivers routinely passing right by him (as a secondary defender) on their way to easy layups.
Found another Brynism. The "adorable" way he swipes behind a player that has blown by him like he has a chance to make any kind of defensive play on the ball. Fake Hustle Style.
The jumping up and down at the scorers table before he checks in the game... like he really about to do something important on the floor and has to loosen up his legs to get ready.
