How has Pop not seen enough by now to try something new? How can he not be giving White/Murray wayyyyy more minutes together to see how it works?
How can White play A MASSIVE role in SA making the playoffs in a loaded West last year and yet not get an uptick in role/minutes this year? Because you have to find minutes for Mills/Forbes?

They arent winning though. Sure, if you are wining fine. But they aren’t. You have to adjust otherwise you aren’t coaching.
It is absolutely frustrating to watch this team and coach and I should stop watching. But it is also oddly fascinating to witness how ty a coach pop is right now. I mean he is sooo bad. He has to be on drugs or something right? Right?

Haha - no. He’s just having all his flaws exposed. Being slow to adapt or failing to make adjustments does not matter when you win 60% of your games. But when you are losing and don’t do those things? Stands out.
He’s just having a bad year coupled with poor management and some bad luck (Morris and Rudy falling off a cliff).
But SA had an easy schedule to start , healthiest team in the league and more continuity so hard to find excuses.
Man, Pop looked like a revolutionary coach in 2014. Now the dude is just doing everything in his power to try to lose.
Spurs compared to other teams still a leader in fans tuning in. I’m just on twitter during the games more than here. Many are.

i can't believe the amount of people here that actually believed in demar + spurs. not a superstar, not a star, just a glorified starter with jumping ability.
This doesn't make sense because they need bums on seats and revenue from games. If they made tanking obvious , no one would show up for games.
I don't think Pop is the right coach for this youth. White and Lonnie's minutes show that all too clearly. Get a good draft pick and get the man to retire otherwise we're in for some more of the same frustration.
I have zero hope that Pop can give Lonnie and Derrick the right amount of playtime.
Pop will not make any major adjustments until he's absolutely desperate. He's been like that most of his career. That doesn't excuse his terrible decision-making, though, or his terrible plan for the season.
