You had one candidate who could tap into a broad net of voters and you blew it to be Hillary's es once again.

You're actually right on this. She had a message that resonated. The more she moved away from that the more she fell. She's a mess.
No question. If anything Biden is more of a centrist corporate shill than Hillary was. Even someone like Klobuchar would have done a better job at appealing to the Bros than Biden does.
Just imagine a townhall 6 months from now after the primary is over when he gets a question from a BernieBro and says “Go vote for someone else!”
What Dems also don’t realize is that the black voters who care enough about politics to vote in the primary might be huge Biden supporters, but more disengaged black voters (most of them) need to be given a reason to vote. Hillary didn’t get good black turnout and Biden won’t either.
If Bernie bros aren’t going to vote for a centrist and centrist voters aren’t going to vote for Bernie everything else was just noise and Trump always had it in the bag. Trump greatest strength is that as stupid as he is democrats are even stupider.
There's literally like 200 people that get to vote.
yeah, thats not good enough to say you've been disenfranchised
Blacks would turn out for Bernie? They aren't voting for him now when they are turning out.
Hard to believe Dem’s are this stupid again!
The difference between black turnout for Biden and black turnout for Bernie would be marginal imo, neither one is getting Obama-level black turnout.
The massive amount of butthurt over a couple of losses from Bernie is telling.
The way Trump wins is exactly by throwing a tamtrum and already saying I might not vote. Indeed, enjoy Trump through 2024. This also further emphasizes the Bernie my way or the highway approach by his supporters.
Just more than 2016 would be great tbh.
I’m voting for whoever the dem candidate happens to be. I just have zero confidence Biden can beat Trump.
I was agreeing with you. The Bros aren't coming in to the fold.
I dont think blaming voter's choices is a good idea here. The burden is on Bernie to first of all get out his supporters to vote. Why is he polling so ty with blacks? How is that the voter's fault? I'm confuse..
How about those 5 votes Warren got? Not joking. She got 5 ing votes.![]()
Disenfranchised is the wrong word. The obvious effort the Dem establishment made to favor Biden is more accurate. There’s a growing sentiment that the DNC cares more about maintaining the status quo than helping its cons uents.
Itd be one thing if someone more progressive was the choice, but the fact they picked a candidate even closer to the center than Hillary was is going to be looked at as a you to Bernie Bros.
Because Biden has the Obama pull. If Biden wasn't in the race then you would see Bernie run away with it too. Bernie is winning the younger black voter, so it's at least trending his way.
Better start going the Bernie way then if the other way isn’t working.
I could go vote in the California Dem primary; but I take no responsibility for whatever loser they pick.![]()
What should Bernie have done differently with black voters? Be specific. His platform does significantly more for black voters than any of the other candidates’ platforms would and he doesn’t have the checkered past that Biden/Bloomer have on race.
The Bros will come around just like they did in 2016.
Bernie will campaign with Biden just like he did Clinton. And Biden will get hundreds of millions from Bloomberg.
If I'm Biden's camp my next big project is figuring out how to refuse all debates with Trump while spinning it as part of his "bring the country back together" message.
Bingo. It's why Warren was a legit contender until she moved away from her progressive values and attacked Bernie. Half of this party feels like their voices aren't being heard. This is why Trump was able to win and why Bernie likely would too if he didn't have the hand of the entire Democratic establishment weighing down upon him.
