You think if he tested positive that they would just say so?![]()
That is really reckless although still early in the situation. I am still going to work but cutting my gym trips in half. Running outside instead. Social events? No one even seems in the mood.
Girl I've been seeing told me she has symptoms. I'm gonna give it a few days and reevaluate

They wouldn’t openly ever tell us if he was.
I thought most states have canceled any major events where a ton of people will be there?
I read that the Chicago Irish will do their usual St Patrick's day stuff.
Especially not on the 17th since picking up a bug then puts you in late March when it would get symptomatic and complications could happen. And late March is going to be a bloobath if we follow the same trajectory Italy is on. And our exponential in the exponential growth in deaths is actually slightly higher than Italy's, which you can see from comparing the slopes of the nearly linear log graphs in deaths.

End of this month is going to be ugly.
I guess as long as it's under 500 people, it's okay. I already talked her out of it, but she's mad
I'm going full hermit for two weeks.
Got a flu shot today at CVS. Getting a shingles vaccine in a few days. Only go out for necessities.
Good. A hot crowded bar full of drunk people doesn’t seem like a good idea.
Definitely.
The ill informed will act like children, and you'll have to piss someone off to save you and them from their careless impulses.
And she's just now getting over a respiratory infection.
Great idea. Let her whims kill you both.
I think she local schools should consider a two week closure, instead of just one week.
Probably need to do it longer than that. China has probably shown strict quarantines can work for slowing things down, so I imagine these aren't too far from hitting in the US. Especially Seattle. But it'll take time for quarantines to ease the burden on the hospitals I imagine.
Darrin sounds like you more scared about an angry wife than Corona

I think the school year is over barring some last minute luck like this slowing down with the season change. But no one wants to say that right now.
She’s mad because you got to go to that bbq where you high fived people like brave Texans but she doesn’t get to go out to a bar
It’s currently two weeks here in MD. But most doctors here are saying it should probably be closer to a 4-6 closure.
I feel bad for the restaurant industry, but at this point I'm done eating out or getting fast food until either (1) the new case rate declines enough to give the hospitals breathing room or (2) I get the virus, quarantine and recover (or go to the hospital and not die), and establish I'm negative (hopefully we'll be able to get a test by then). I probably should have stopped it two weeks ago. Especially now that we find out Trump-Pelosi's paid sick leave bill was just for show by exempting companies with 500 or more employees as well as companies with 50 or fewer employees.
I feel bad for people living paycheck to paycheck. If this gets any worse and numbers continue to climb they will have no choice to keep people indoors. I won’t be because of what I do, but people being hard headed and not voluntarily staying indoors when they are sick is what will screw it up for everyone else.
Nah, she was with me that night.
I feel bad for them, too, but I'm also done eating out for a while. We have to get a better handle on the real numbers over next two weeks. I went out to a bar on Tuesday, but I was washing my hands like a mofo. I have no symptoms -- yet.
I wouldn't mind that, tbh.
