was disgusting on the local news last night when the catholics in town had shut down their churches but then they go ask baptist ministers and they go full Iran on the need for churches to still be open.
Is it all Baptist or just these televangelist types?

First Baptist in downtown Dallas has an attendance of about 3,000 on most Sundays, and their pastor (Robert Jeffress, FOX News regular and Trump sycophant) is keeping services open despite the Dallas ban on groups of 500 or more. Not sure how that's even possible.

    FWIW:

My sisters and her son are in quarantine from having been in contact with a confirmed case.

My company office has been shut down because a confirmed case visited recently. They are disinfecting it today.

I am riding this out with my 76 year old father, who just had surgery, and is recovering in his home. ing terrifying if he has to go back to the hospital for any complications at this point.

    ing president isn't leading .

The only thing he is doing is lying to cover his ass for his ups, in between rounds of golf, and badly reading the teleprompter.

Poll Shows Most Republicans Aren’t Taking The Threat Of Coronavirus Seriously Enough
As coronavirus continues to spread across much of the world, including here in the United States, most people are at least a little bit concerned about what’s going on.

But a sizable segment of the population is not. Those individuals are, according to one poll, Republicans.

That ain't what brother Cuomo just stated. He commended both Pence & Trump for their leadership.

Cuomo has a load of those tests & he's gonna test anybody who stops their car long enough on the Long & Staten Islands.

& CDC is still hedging on covering the cost of those tests. I told ya's that as well a fortnight ago. But, you said I was chock full of . That one Congresswoman finally got the CDC guy to promise, but, he didn't look eye, he looked right & down.

You'll play getting them to fully cover that test top-to-bottom. For them it is money from home & they detest not getting a (firm) cut of it. Not all it, mind you, but, a steady portion is there for the taking & they're taking it, by God.

    not exactly

he pointed out their failures and then

    FAIRLY -

pointed out ONE good thing pence/trump - did- which is that they (FINALLY) get NY some tests

and thanked them for the good thing they did-

    sounds like a fair actor

Makes sense (for all viruses in general given historical trends). Just need to make sure it isn't as prevalent by staying home/isolating so its not everywhere before then

This was on the news last night. I think they are seating 500 in the main area and have a smaller overflow area where they telecast it. And then the rest watch from home.

Trump-loving megachurch begs followers to pack into the pews amid coronavirus outbreak: ‘If we die — we die for Christ’

they should be coming to church to worship anyway, and

Hold up in the Senate on emergency funding:

Apparently following the money given to corporations in need is easy compared to business paying for sick leave.
Its very interesting on what is complicated. Things are easy if you just hand out the money to a corporation or bank like in 2008. Thanks Obama and Republican guidance on follow up response. Quite a few people made off very rich.

"It doesn't go far enough and it doesn't go fast enough," Cotton said. "Most of the measures in this bill are something that the senators will support, I believe. ... But we worry that the bill setting up a new and complicated system relying on businesses giving paid sick leave.

    Definitely a good idea.

My dad has early onset dementia, and I have the power of attorney. He was incoherent for a couple of days due to reaction to the anesthesia, so I had to drive (too fast probably) to get up here. No choice in my case. Washed my hands a lot and took a calculated risk. Office lets me telecommute, so I will proably have to ride it out here. I can go out when needed for him, and if he needs to get to ER, I can take him. I am his safety net, atm.

Got a text from someone close to me with friends in high places:

"Speaking to one of our local leaders: “The short answer is every day we are closer to closing restaurants and bars. We may only do takeout at restaurants. If I were you I would not plan a st Patty's day party. I cannot in good conscience advise you to do that. I'm meeting with the governor at 2. I think the president may be speaking to the country tonight. He might declare a curfiew or martial law of some sort tonight or tomorrow. So it's hard to say what will happen until tonight. It's hour by hour and day by day right now. Keep people safe postpone. This is not a drill!”

Sounds like bs, but who knows.
