CNN reporter calls out Trump to his face:
‘Yesterday you said this was under tremendous control’
Dr. Deborah L. Birx, who is heading the coronavirus response, claimed that
the White House’s inability to respond in the first 40 days of the crisis was actually a good thing
because it enabled them to sit back and
watch the way others dealt with the crisis and what worked for them.
Monday is day 47 since the first coronavirus case was discovered in the United States.

If you weren't at risk why are you coughing?
It's amazing how well you can filter information, write the narrative and control your people with that kind of government. Don't you wish the US could be more like China and Russia?
‘Stealth Transmission’ Fuels Fast Spread Of Coronavirus Outbreak
Undetected cases, many of which were likely not severely symptomatic, were largely responsible for the rapid spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in China,
• 86 percent of all infections were undo ented prior to the January 23 Wuhan travel shutdown
• Per person, these undo ented infections were half (52 percent) as contagious as do ented infections yet were the source of two-thirds of do ented infections
• Government control efforts and population awareness have reduced the rate of spread of the virus in China; after travel restrictions and control measures were imposed, it spread less quickly
“The explosion of COVID-19 cases in China was largely driven by individuals with mild, limited, or no symptoms who went undetected,”
stealth transmissions will continue to present a major challenge to the containment of this outbreak going forward.”

If a country already imposes strong measures concerning individual rights it works really well during these events.
Ill wait it out here thank you.
This is good timing for the autocrat Putin.
He was attempting to become president for life.
This May seal the deal.
We already are. Coronavirus task team meetings are top secret. The government drags its feet on testing, reporting the case numbers, and updating the numbers.
You may or may not have noticed that the White House thinned out the press corps in the interest of the public health emergency today. Very on brand to have done so, hm?

Sadly it's not quarantine but needs to be.
If things stays like this in July or August, Trump might just have an excuse to cancel the elections.
Im sure if it was up to him - he would have already put that plan in motion.
It is not.

Trump is livid at Jared Kushner over the ‘inept and flat-footed’ coronavirus response
President Donald Trump has lost faith in his son-and-law and senior advisor,
Coronavirus poses a once-in-a-hundred-years threat to the country,” Vanity Fair reported.
“As Trump processes the stakes facing the country—and his presidency—
he’s also lashing out at advisers,
whom he blames for the White House’s inept and flat-footed response.
Sources say a
principal target of his anger is Jared Kushner.”

I'm hoping for an early heat wave. We had a very warm winter, so, hopefully...
i was pretty disappointed we only got one snow day here all season... not this is exactly blizzard country but there was supposed to be considerably more. having come from a place where it literally never snows, i was looking forward to that change of scenery
