Yeah that's going to be rough since unemployment is based on what you made at your job. It's going to be expensive and still no deterrent for sick people who still have low wage jobs to stay home. A UBI would just be pure subsistence level. It's drastic at a cost of $330 billion a month, but if it can flatten the curve enough to get our death rate to 0.5% instead of it spiraling out of control to say 2% maybe we're only talking 900k deaths instead of 3.6M, assuming 55% of the country gets SARSCov2 (just splitting the difference between the projected 40% to 70% rate).
