They can't & the old man knows it. He's the PresidentPERIOD
MSM thought they had him trapped and at a loss without the Rallies. No. He has a Rally every day instead of once a month.
Governors have chopped off Trash’s testicles. All the networks should just cover Newsom and Cuomo, minus FOX of course. Trash would have a breakdown.![]()

Gov. Newsom announces more benefits for unemployed Californians amid coronavirus pandemic
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced additional unemployment benefits for the state on Wednesday as well as new measures to handle a record volume of unemployment inquiries.
“People are not where they were just a few weeks ago,” Newsom said at a press briefing Wednesday. “Just in the last four weeks, 2.7 million Californians have formally filed for unemployment insurance.”
Newsom said California is now setting up the federal government’s Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program, which will provide benefits for certain unemployed individuals, including those who are self-employed, gig workers and independent contractors.
This dude should run for president in 5 months
I just got a stimulus check direct deposited into my checking acct. I figured I made way too much to receive a check.
Check your account for something like "IRS TREAS 310 TAX REF"
Maybe your wife met the criteria
Being married and having two kids is why I qualified.

"$1.7 million stimulus check?
While wealthy Americans are not eligible for the comparatively measly $1,200 stimulus checks that are now being disbursed to many Americans, they are on pace to do even better. 43,000 taxpayers, who earn more than $1 million annually, are each set to receive a $1.7 million windfall, on average, thanks to a provision buried in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act...."

this stupid mother er still thinks China is paying tariffs.
I wouldn't define that as a herd immunity strategy. Herd immunity is basically "YOLO," letting business go on as usual and only maybe isolating the most vulnerable. I'd say we're going for step-by-step cautious reopening. And we'll probably take a cue from Singapore, and alternate between open/closed as the new cast count dictates.
They had their highest death peak today at 170 up from 114. Close to a 50 percent increase. Adjusted for pop, that's like the US having 5610 deaths today. And Sweden isn't that population dense. That said, if the strategy works for them and their society, that's their choice, and it might work here in small communities who could potentially handle the surge. But trying to apply the Swedish model to big cities would be insane.
Oh, and Sweden is already Italy. Italy's highest daily death count was 919. Sweden, adjusted to Italy's population (6.6 x 170), just peaked at 1122.

Yeah, that ain't a Swedish strategy there.
amen to all that b
HCQ isn't a proven cure.
A nation of spoiled children.
I don’t consider it YOLO. I was thinking more of a managed herd immunity strategy. All of the following with social distancing in place and stressing hand washing/sanitizing/don’t touch face/stay home when feeling sick. All parks/hiking/golf courses/sports field open. Businesses reopened where social distancing both possible for employees and customers. Businesses that can’t will receive more gov relief. Strongly recommend elderly/at risk shelter in place further. Wash your hand wash your hands wash your hands wash your ing hands.
With that I think we’d avoid overwhelming hospitals and get back to a somewhat normal way of life.
How is it proven?
Christian Conservatives don't spoil their children and teach them values that supercede street smarts.
yup I been describing this for weeks
mandatory masks, very few ppl per rooms. no crowds at all
that will work
called it![]()
Herd immunity to me is intentionally letting people get sick via zero or very lax measures that don't emphasize the measures you describe. The measures you describe will no doubt slow down transmission to the point where it'd be impossible to infect over 20 million people in a short time frame. And that's a good thing, obviously. A vaccine will come. Anti-virals will come. So yeah, agree with the measured approach you laid out until we have those treatments. I just hope we have enough people to "buy in" and willing to deal with the short term discomfort. Already seeing blowback. Ex.
If people want places like restaurants to keep their head above water until we beat this thing, this has to be our "new normal" for a while. But you'll see in the comment chain the typical "Freedumb" at ude. That's why I say, "A nation of spoiled children."
I'm not sure I've ever seen him get it straight
Lol that couldn't be more false
Herd immunity is the eventual end of just about any strategy. The trick is how quickly to get there without overwhelming health systems and killing too many people in any given amount of time.
