Not true. You follow your own. A scientist gets on FOX and you call them everything but white men, then down with the sodomites they get cast.

Don't try and bs an old bs'er, Homer.

& you've called out Trump ever since he left Hillary dead in the ground. Never gave him a minute's peace because that's what you vowed to do:::The Resistance.

You want to clean your conscious over our Spurs Talk contingent who stand shoulder-to-shoulder.

Come on ahead, Homer. Come ta Pappy.

is cray, and very ed up

The Trump Administration has been in essence blockading states by seizing PPE and tests, some of which are distrbuted to other states, some of which join the federal stockpile, and some of which go to Jared Kushner's list of preferred vendors to sell to the states.

Wrt PPE and testing materials, there seems to be a de facto state of war between the Trump Administration and US States.

One one hand, you criticize the president for doing nothing, then when he does something you comment that he should leave it to the states. Look at NY. How did that work out?

    God, you're.dense.

It's disingenuous for the President to claim on the one hand that states are on their own wrt medical supplies, then to seize their shipments.

If seizing supplies is part if the plan, the states should be notified, so they don't waste time and money on stuff Trump is just going to take away from them anyway. It's terrible project management.

A FEMA spokeswoman denied seizing any states' shipments, but told The Times that "prioritizing PPE deliveries to COVID hot spots can have the unintended consequence of disrupting the regular supply chain deliveries to other areas of the country."

States hoard as well. Texas has what, 300 or so deaths? NY has 20K (will have by the time I post this). Should Texas be able to get tons of PPE for backfill while NY is using garbage bags? This is where the feds come in and divert to FEMA for distribution.

or get off the pot. Do you want states in charge of their own or the feds in charge of all states' ?

The feds didn't make that choice. They did one thing while saying another leading to enormous wastes of time and resources.

Could have been making WHO tests since January like South Korea did. But what's the point of testing for a Democratic hoax? No one could have seen this coming to the US amirite?
I remember TSA here spreading fake news that the WHO tests were unrealiable at the time.... looks like they worked out just fine for the rest of the world, SK included...

So if I order masks from Amazon and they are "unavailable" because the feds are commandeering them all, was I wronged? Should I be able to have 15K N95s for my personal mental comfort? Isn't this a free country?

Hyped Malaria Pill Doesn’t Help Clear Coronavirus in Study

Hydroxychloroquine, the 65-year-old malaria drug that President Donald Trump has praised, appeared not to help patients get rid of the pathogen in a small study.

The pill didn’t help patients clear the virus better than standard care and was much more likely to cause side effects, according to a study of 150 hospitalized patients by doctors at 16 centers in China.

The drug did help alleviate some clinical symptoms of Covid-19, however, and

the patients who took it showed a greater drop in C-reactive protein, a measure of inflammation.

“This study doesn’t show any signal,

so it is probably unlikely that it will be of clinical benefit.”

It an anti-inflammatory, big deal. So are lots of other OTC drugs, like aspirin.

    It's not an anti-viral

Majority Fear U.S. Coronavirus Restrictions Will Be Lifted Too Quickly

The poll, which was released Sunday,

shows 58 percent of registered voters are most concerned the country could move too quickly on lifting the restrictions that were put in place to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

In contrast, 32 percent said they were worried about the economic impact of waiting too long to get things moving again.

The split along partisan lines is pretty stark,

with 77 percent of Democrats and

only 39 percent of Republicans saying they were concerned about reopening too quickly.

Only 19 percent of Democrats said they were more worried about

the economic impact, compared to 48 percent of Republicans.

South Korea reported their first case the same day the US did. Their benchmark for competence and urgency shows how far off the mark our own government is.
