A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that of the first 425 patients,
only 45 percent had connections to the market.
A separate Jan. 24 analysis published in the Lancet found that three of the first four cases — including the first known case — did not have market links.

No scientist we spoke to thinks the new coronavirus was designed as a bioweapon.

Too many unexpected coincidences would have had to take place for it to have escaped from a lab.
it’s unclear when or if we will ever know the origin story of this new virus that is causing death and economic turmoil around the globe.

Pretty much all of his ideas (hyperloop, tunnel systems, Mars colonization, replacing air travel with rocket travel, Neuralink) aren't feasible and read like something from young adult science fiction. So he funded a reusable rocket company. Wow. Jury is out on whether or not reusable rockets are cheaper than just building new rockets. AndElon Musk is currently melting down on twitter.

I think about Elon Musk's sad transit tunnel sometimes, pour myself another brandy, and think about what could have been. What could still be.
Sure, but people forget he didn't start the company and isn't responsible for any of the engineering behind those vehicles. He's basically the lead salesman for the company, a la Steve Jobs (we all know Woz was the brains behind the engineering in the early days).
