I don't know enough about all of the elections in history. But is this the worst ever?
Probably. Either way we get four more years of the US Presidential Babysitting Service.
You'd think they'd play back these videos first and watch, than scrap it and try again. Good God help us all. No great company on the planet would higher anyone 70+ to run their business in times like these. Why do we continue to put up close to corpses to work at a job with this much stress, that requires nuance and strength in equal measure.

No one who intended to vote for Bernie were ever going to Biden while the primaries was going on. Why would they have second thoughts when Bernie would have been even worse?

2016 was right up there. I mean, even the third party candidates were ing jokes. Gary Johnson and Jill Stein... jesus christ.
Bernie has proggressive policies and on paper the country would be better off long term, no doubt.
That doesn't mean he would win against Trump. If you needed 4 different candidates to cannibalize each other just to barely win with 30% and then proceed to still lose the nomination, your chances to actually win a general election are very very low.
So yes, Bernie would fair worse than Biden against Trump.
Yeah...I hear that. But at the time, I think Hilary still had her wits about her. Not that it was a great choice. But I seriously think this time both candidates may be senile.
