Hillary was up about 10 points 1 week before the election and with one word ("deplorables") she choked it.
Way too soon.
She didn't choke. Election was stolen. Pootin admitted he helped.
Link? I don't remember anything close to that kind of lead after the Comey letter. She said some of Trump's base was deplorables much earlier in the election if I remember right.
She ing choked.
This dude is HILARIOUSLY PATHETIC

Trump’s big failure this week stripped away the last reason for Republicans to vote for him: conservative
former Republican Matt Lewis explained that, if there was any reason for a conservative to vote for Donald Trump in November,
it dissipated this past week because he has failed delivered on any of his promises.
Lewis, who left the Republican Party due to the president’s actions, claims
two major Supreme Court decisions that
went against Trump are signs that
his administration has been a failure —
and voters should take notice.

Anti-government militias split on support for Trump after he threatens protesters with soldiers
Militias and patriot groups share concern over government infringement yet differ on support for recent protests
most of these citizen-focused organizations share a concern about government infringement on individual liberties.
President Donald Trump threatening to send in federal troops.
That puts these groups in a curious position.
Their public activity has long championed the importance of individual cons utional rights, and they believe in the right to use armed resistance against government overreach.
But many of these groups' members have also been supporters of the president,
who is now speaking openly of taking the sort of far-reaching government action these groups have long warned against.

He got a manipulated media warning for this one.
"Lawfare offers a full rundown of the legal issues in the case,
but in a nuts , what seems to have happened is that
Bolton submitted his book for the normal government review and, after a few months of back-and-forth revisions,
it was cleared for publication.
At that point, Trump's favorite new henchman (and Bolton's successor), national security adviser
Robert O'Brien, stepped in and
gave the book to a political appointee
who claimed it still contained classified information and refused to clear it.
Bolton and his publisher decided to go ahead anyway and here we are."

She had a double digit lead as recent as the 23rd of October.
She choked LkrFan Juan Pablo. Spreewell-Carlisemo style.

Poll: 63 Percent of GOP Voters Believe Country is Heading in the Wrong Direction
https://www.politicususa.com/2020/06...direction.html
Outlier poll for sure.
The aggregate national lead she had was like 4 points or something. Inside the margin of error.
That was two weeks before the election and a few days before the Comey letter. It was the Comey letter, not the deplorables comment (which was in September), that likely cost her the election.
Yeah, I noticed. Mea culpa.
BTW...did you get yourself an Instant Pot yet? Made bomb ass carne guisada last night. 1 hour.
And Comey had already damaged Hillary in the summer with his much anticipated national TV appearance to trash Hillary with "no indictment", violating FBI protocols that said "no indictment, then no comment" certainly not a national TV trashing commentary.
you mean the Deep State letter?
I did, but haven't made any carne guisada since there is one Mexican joint four blocks from me that does it really well and then another about a 1 mile away that's even better. One of the perks of being in Texas.![]()
I'm a culinary guy but I'll never get my carne guisada the same way the Jaliscos do.Probably just nostalgia, but Jalisco carne guisada will always be the best to me. I don't even try anymore.
Jalisco? That's the name of like 1/3rd of Mexican restaurants in the San Antonio area.
Frustrating because none of them seems to actually have dishes from the state of Jalisco... eg like tortas ahogadas. I have to go all the way out to El Chivito by Crossroads or Roho's Pork & Bread downtown if I want one.
I use it as a general term although they're certainly not all created equal, but I definitely would rather go to any one for my guisada.
Btw, just googled tortas ahogadas
El Chivito is a 12 minute drive from me.![]()
So true. That and flour tortillas done right. No one does breakfast tacos here either except Taco Bell.
I'd kill for an alambre taco or some machacado....
