Depends which region you call home but I am firm believer in the silent majority. Saw it first play out in 2004. Most people prefer to not discuss politics/social issues in public around non-friends/family.
There's no silent majority or anything like that. Trump wins in the rust belt are directly correlated to his anti-globalization rhetoric, and running a populist/socialist agenda like protectionism, cheap healthcare, his hedge fund buddies having to take a hit, etc.
It's clear he didn't deliver on any of that, and he won't. The economy crashing isn't going to help him either. The economy was actually pretty great, comparatively speaking, in '16.
But, as usual, turnout and disenfranchising attempts are going to be key in swing states.

Ok. But what about the ones who didn't vote? These are the people who are voting this time.
But they do, 2016 notwithstanding. I mean, I know it's easy to just disregard polling, but in aggregate, they're statistically largely correct.
He promised to open up mines and factories too, which never happened
I think social media has leveled the playing field. I am certain there are Trump voters that politically only subscribe to his tweets.
All depends on how many of those non voters reside in Ohio, FLA, Michigan, etc.
Kind of hard to do when those jobs are old fashioned and largely untenable.
I liken mining to someone still using windows 7. Party's over, you have a grace period before the system is completely obsolete. Trump knows this, but his base doesnt.

Trump May Attempt To Force Long-Time H-1B Visa Holders Out Of U.S.
June 22, 2020, presidential proclamation suggests a plan that, if pursued and implemented, could drive hundreds of thousands of long-time H-1B visa holders out of the United States.
The plan, on the wish list of anti-immigration organizations,
is to
force foreign nationals waiting years for employment-based green cards to go through the “labor certification” process again
in the hopes many will not succeed.
The regulation or policy change would aim to force highly skilled Indian, Chinese and Filipino nationals to leave the United States en masse – in effect,
deportation from America of many of the world’s most talented people.

If they're allowed to vote, sure
Well they have a dem governor so that would be a disaster if they weren’t allowed to.

The memo was signed by the head of the office, who is

It's a federal election, and I expect things like mail in ballots to be contested. Maybe I should've said "if their votes are counted", but you know what I mean.

Worries over the ‘mental acuity’ of the president
after ‘complete gibberish’ interview on Fox News
Trump falsely claimed
there would not be any COVID-19 cases were it not for testing to detect the pandemic.
Trump also predicted Joe Biden would win the 2020 presidential race![]()
bragged about being “the most perfect person.”![]()

Wall Street Journal Editorial Board Buries Trump in Devastating Commentary:
He’s ‘Reverted To His Worst Form’
Wall Street Journal Editorial Board ripped President Donald Trump in a scathing op-ed Thursday night
for the president’s lack of a second-term plan and
reverting to his “worst form”
four months before the 2020 election against Joe Biden.
"Lately he has all but given up even talking about the pandemic
when he might offer realism and hope about the road ahead even as the country reopens.
His default now is defensive self-congratulation.
The country also wants firm but empathetic leadership after the death of George Floyd, but Mr.
Trump offers combative tweets that inflame.
Not long ago Mr. Trump tweeted that a 75-year old man who was pushed by police in Buffalo might be an antifa activist. He offered no evidence.
Americans don’t like racial enmity and they want their President to reduce it.
Mr. Trump has preached racial harmony on occasion, but
he gives it all back with riffs that misjudge the national moment.
His “law and order” message might resonate if disorder and rioting continue through the summer,
but only if Mr. Trump is also talking about racial reconciliation and opportunity for all.
Mr. Trump has little time to recover.
The President’s advisers say that he trailed Hillary Clinton by this much at this point in 2016,
that they haven’t had a chance to define Mr. Biden, and
that as the election nears voters will understand the binary choice.
Perhaps.
But in 2016 Mrs. Clinton was as unpopular as Mr. Trump,
while Mr. Biden is not."
