Do you know what the difference is between an endorsement and an advertisement - yes or no?
i havent used the word endorse once in this conversation. i dont believe those are mutually exclusive. some advertisements contain endorsements. some don't.

do you disagree that donald trump and ivanka trump posted advertisements for Goya?

"Why is the president posting advertisements for Ronny Jackson herp derp"
you are the only one here talking about endorsements

and yes that tweet is an advertisement. unlike commercial products, it is legal for trump or anybody else in office to endorse partisan political candidates

there isn't a problem with people expressing opinions

there's a problem because he's using his political office to promote a private enterprise just because they showed fealty to him
You're clutching your pearls. Liberals tried to demonize this "private enterprise." The president is taking leadership and showing his support against the unwarranted attacks.

suddenly boycotts and criticism are "demonizing"

i remember when you criticized conservatives for demonizing nike, or getting mad at trump for demonizing the NFL

except i'm not "clutching pearls"... public critique/boycotting is fine. using public office to support a product is illegal.

You can't even cling to TOS. You're just justifying secret censorship straightup now.

Isn't govt. supposed to ensure businesses act in good faith?

Or does this concept only apply when it's convenient for you?

Not an issue of good faith.

Why do you want big daddy government to intervene?

meeting with business leaders is not an endorsement of their product. obama had a lot of tech leaders visit him at the white house in order to discuss things such as internet surveillance and potential regulations.

Fed LE shot a protester in the head with a less than lethal round a couple of days ago, now they're rounding people up on the street.

    Like we do now.
