The company I work for has a program that matches donations to vetted en ies, and that's the best vehicle for me to maximize help, tbh... they recently had specific matching campaigns to help with COVID and organizations related to people of color, etc.

What do you REALLY do to help the cause and movement? Can you substantiate your claims?

All bias aside, and I don't give two s what others have to say, but the only people down here I feel are consistent with their beliefs can be counted on 3 fingers.

I was very vocal Liberal in the early 2000s and very vocal Conservative in 2015-16

Funny part is the only close friend I had issues with was the same friend both times

I now avoid even with most family members. If topic comes up with casual friends or co workers I make sure to share enough to inform without revealing my cards whether I am Pro or Against. People are more willing to listen if you give them the tools without drawing the conclusion for them.

I made 1 political post (recently about Benjamin Franklin statue going down in NY) on Facebook in the past 2 years and it was so ambiguous two old school friends with opposite viewpoints like it. I will try and stay away from politics completely. I direct message relatives about foreign topics but no more public lecturing. This is why I come here to get it out of my system.

To answer OP, I try to lead a good everyday life and that is my help. I take pride in casual people not knowing where I necessarily stand politically. If that makes me a fake racist then so be it.

The problem with asking that question is that whatever is posted here will simply be used by the less than honest s like DMC or Spurtacular in endless ad hominem bull posts. I volunteer both time and money for various causes, and have made my kids come along to help to teach them altruism and service as well. It has led to some good discussions. Respectfully, I would not provide details other than that.
