This doesn't appear to be spreading in my part of town. 1500+ new cases today. Zero increase in my zip code, which has been steady for several weeks.
    Stay safe!

Are you helping them with 24/7 screeds on ST?
I'm not ting on them with ST screeds to make myself feel better about drinking alone and smoking.

One area where they can find common ground is that these sports translate the best to videogames (hockey honorable mention). My HS days were consumed playing my friends at World Series Baseball and Worldwide Soccer 97/98 (better gameplay than FIFA at the time) on the Saturn. Football and basketball games are too easy to cheese. Baseball videogames are great because of pitcher/batter matchup and soccer can't be cheesed as easily as football and basketball. Football games always an undefensible play or something and basketball will always have overpowered players who don't miss.
Yeah, spent too much money on NBA Jam (which curiously was way more arcade than basketball), and lots of good soccer games in arcades too...

NBA Jam was the only great multiplayer basketball game since everyone was overpowered. The NBA Live and then 2K series were fun for single player, but easy to cheese by picking overpowered teams. And then you'd have weird in bball games like scrubs who would never miss.

Positivity rate of tests down to 12%, hospitalization rates down quite a bit the last week too. I was worried it might just be plateau when we were seeing small decreases in hospitalizations 2-3 weeks ago, but looks like it really was the beginning of a decreasing trend. I think the number admitted today for COVID was in the 40s (don't remember the exact number from the press conference) but it was around 100-120 a day for a while before. So things definitely looking up in the area.

Hospitalization is way down up here too which is great. New cases have plateaued in the 200-250/day range. Nobody knows what metrics any government uses to make decisions though, so whatever....hope things continue to improve.

EDIT: [Mayor] Adler said that as of Sunday morning, Austin's positivity rate is between 10 and 15% but that it must be below 5% for the sustained reopening of schools and businesses.
