There's no conclusive studies in the efficacy of HCQ. The Henry Ford study was tainted. Now it's up to you if you want to believe those studies. Furthermore I ain't against giving HCQ as a preventive. Even if it reduces odds if death by 1%, worth it. Worry is it could cause shortages for people who need it, like lupus patients

What's strange is that Ford study found more effectiveness without Zinc. But that study was methodologically flawed. The drug is cheap and relatively safe. If doctors want to prescribe it as a better safe than sorry preventative, sure. Don't see the issue other than shortages. The pushback against Trump was the "game changer" description of it. No evidence of that. And him and his team are now trying to position the matter as evil libs denying HCQ to hurt Trump. It was prescribed along with zinc quiet a lot in March and April, and that's the period where we had the most deaths (no, not saying HCQ contributed to those deaths, but if it were a game changer, you'd expect a different outcome).
