    Because I’m not afraid?
Correct. Why does my dislike default to fear but yours does not.

Cocaine Mitch does this all the time, he deliberately waits until the last minute to release details of whatever corporate welfare handouts he and the Republicans have cooked up so there’s no time to negotiate. The Dems should draw a line in the sand and say it’s on you if we don’t pass it in time but we’re not going to entertain the gamesmanship anymore, unfortunately Schumer is too much of a pussy for that.

If Mitch tries to play hardball just tell him "It's an election year we should let voters decide" I do hope the Dems finally grow a pair of balls and the Repubs the way they've been ing the dems these last few decades. No more overton window bull .

I still say go nuclear, kill the filibuster and ram as much through in 2021/2022. Even if/when Republicans get control back, I still think they wouldn’t be able to repeal stuff like a minimum wage hike or a UBI (look what happened with Obamacare, when push came to shove there were always a few Republicans who didn’t want to take healthcare away from 20 million people).

you’d think the two are mutually exclusive, but somehow Trump managed to achieve both.

Do you really believe our 7-day rolling average for new caseload per day flattened and dropped the exact day the hospitals started sending data to Trump's HHS instead of the CDC? And in red states on top of that while blue states maintained their trajectory? No one can seriously believe the data coming out of Trump's HHS any more. We're still the coronavirusfail champions.
eh, brasil data is even more doctored, theyve had like 3 health ministers quit already unwilling to go with the show..

This quarter was 9.5% decline. Not 33%.

    Still terrible.
In olden times, a reduction in force of ten percent was called decimation.

Demand shocks suck among other reasons because they throw a lot of people out of work at once, and debt-deflation makes the demand shock repeat over and over without state intervention, as during the Great Depression.

No celebration, a depression comports the entirely avoidable result of human deprivation and suffering.

    doing nothing is a choice.

in a depression/pandemic, it will be a very costly one.
