Per Rivals, DT Ike Iwunnah of Garland Lakeview Centennial is down to Baylor, Colorado and Texas.
They feel Texas is his current leader.

Yes, Texas has been playing the new NIL (name, image, likeness) angle hard.

That’s a nice start to the 2022 class! Hopefully we can get a QB commit and get the ball rolling.
Any talk about how the schedule is going to shape up for this upcoming season?

Would anyone here go if there is no vaccine?
I’ve had it so I would go tmrw if they played
Steve Wiltfong of 24/7 also mentioned today, that he feels Texas leads for both 5-star WR Evan Stewart (Liberty, Frisco) and top 100 WR Armani Winfield (Lewisville). Then throw in local 5-star WR Caleb Burton to the mix as well, and Texas is looking really, really good for WR in 2022 (TFB said today that they expect Texas to be very much in the mix all the way to end for Burton).

Getting the WR class lined up for Quinn Ewers.
I've opted out this season and having a vaccine never crossed my mind. I'm for a football season, but at this point I would be pretty surprised if it actually happens. Way too many politics involved for obvious reasons.
Im still having a hard time with this.
I am very pleased that school logos etc cant be used.
No way I go the games.
I need a packed house in the real fall (does fall exist anymore or is fall now called winter?).
Dont need a packed house to get infected after I have managed to stay clean and still get some really good exercise in.
I have a friend my age, who has had this for 4 weeks and still feels extremely weak. I guess it matters who you know and get what they are going through.
And what you enjoy doing, I gotta get out run, bike, kayak... muh swimming is gone now which has affected kayaking distances in the long sleek traveling sit ins.
Are we really just scraping the bottom of the barrel for OL ?

Link to Wiltfongs comments?
Roach from 24/7 has put in a Texas crystal ball for WR Ketron Jackson of Royse City.
He was at Lancaster before transferring to Royse City for his junior year, so he's friends with new 2022 WR commitment Phaizon Wilson.

It wasn't in an article. I saw screenshots of threads on the 24/7 Texas board, where he said he felt Texas lead for both prospects and then linked their 24/7 profile. Nothing in-depth or reasoning behind.
This is not necessarily a good thing.
The power 5 schools do need some governing body.
The NCAA has obviously done a lot of stupid things and made a tremendous amount of money for administrators and advisors who dont do a of a lot.
but...
There has to be some body for regulation of recruiting, practice, safety, etc... If you let Ole Miss become the governing body just imagine what would happen.
If this whole thing just leaves colleges out and college names out I would be fine with it. I would not watch it, but I would be fine with it. This student-athlete is getting really very shaky. Just start a minor league for the NFL and let the NFL run it without college names.
The University of Texas means more than just football.
At least I hope it does.
