    Could have cut some of the "sacreds", I've never seen a political convention so chock full of religious tones but, Biden spoke clearly and well.

    He modelled appropriate empathy (impossible for a monomaniac like Trump) and his patriotism and positivity seemed authentic. Doesn't do much for me tbh, but a lot of people like that malarkey.

    I thought it was a very good speech as these things go.
