It will, Tim, but it has to do its thing. Unfortunately
So you admit you've been disingenuous this whole time.

Do you feel better now? Is the liquor not dulling the pain anymore?

It's in one of these COVID threads here where I kept telling him to wear a ing mask to protect the workers when he said he doesn't wear them when he runs in to the gas station for a minute. I ain't making the up. Still makes me mad as that people act like that to low wage workers, that somehow their lives don't hold value.

As I posted previously, I changed my opinion on that. I know the workers at my local S station by name. Before the mandate, those employees weren't wearing masks either.

I changed my opinion based on the science. This was AFTER Fauci and surgeon general were telling us NOT to wear masks.
Yeah because the hospitals needed them early on due to extreme shortages in PPE and Fauci didn't want to see masks become the new toilet paper with people hoarding and leaving our most vulnerable population, the health care providers, without PPE. And no you didn't, you kept arguing with me over and over about not needing to wear one for your short trips into the gas station long after they were officially recommended because who cares, you were only in there for a minute and you're the unique snowflake it's important to protect, not the guy at the register who can't distance.

Yep. I'm just being honest and admitting it. You guys act like some magical policy will make it go away.

    extreme shortages in PPE
Which were caused by Trump cutting back spending and resources for pandemic preparation in order to offset giving tax cuts to rich people.

Anyway, I'm very encouraged by the trends down here. I know this thing rapidly fading is a bummer to some of you.

No, the bummer is acting like the pandemic is over here just like you did in May. You keep minimizing this virus because the house isn't on fire at a specific moment in time.

Yeah I'm ing angry that we have ~200k dead and are in another great depression from a completely sociopathic federal response which was based on continually minimizing the threat to us all.

And now there is all this pressure to pack schools 8 hours a day in a pandemic just like there was for bars, gyms, and sitdown restaurants in May.

I'm pretty sure that forcing the closure of "non-essential" businesses wasn't minimizing the threat.

Numbers are going down but nowhere near where they need to be to try in person schooling.

It's insane that the only plan has ever been just almost immediately going beck to exactly what we did before.

No pressure. NISD gave us the option of in-person or virtual. I chose virtual.

And, after nine weeks, we can chose in-person vs. virtual again. It all seems pretty reasonable to me.

You'll always have that one month to cling to, even though Trump started back minimizing it again pretty quickly once he literally heard 'the cure can't be worse than the virus' on Fox News and started parroting that . The entire rest of the time it has been nothing but minimization of the virus as well as other sociopathic actions like forcing states to find their own PPE and then stealing it from them when they did.
