Yikes.
FrostKing There is your silent majority and Trump hidden vote.
There is no such thing. They're all out in the open.
Death cult.
Every single Trump supporter here is a member.
The other 43% are worse in my book. They lie to pollsters and say they think it's unacceptable but they rationalize it and still support Trump + the party that's cratered the economy twice now in the last 15 years. At least the 57% are honest card carrying Trump s.
Damn, and they were outraged when they created rumor of Affordable Health Care Act Death Panels.
Who knew that they really, really, really supported the idea of death panels.
A bibgly YIKES to that!
2008 was only 12 years ago
Rounded up to the nearest 5, doesn't really matter.
It baffles me why there aren't any ads reminding people that the last two Republican presidents have cratered the economy. Just imagine how much Republicans would use it as a talking point of Clinton + Obama both ended their term with America in a recession.
That’s a bit unfair.
You have to think most of that 43% are the disaffected republicans. The Lincoln Project and Winehole types who think their party is being led into oblivion by a re who can barely read.
Dude, how are they all disaffected when every poll I've seen shows that at least 80% of registered Republicans plan to vote for Trump? If 43% of all Republicans genuinely thought the death count was unacceptable, Biden would be winning in a historic landslide.
They either don't really think it's acceptable or they think it's unacceptable but not a big enough deal to make them throw away a chance to trigger da libs.
BUT BUT I'M TIRED OF BOTH SIDES FIGHTING ABOUT IT

We're through the looking glass, Trump is our ty Napoleon, he can do no wrong.
Gonna be a lot of ugly tabletop busts and Trump escutcheons.

I'm hoping some of those 43%ers are Lincoln Project people
I'm sure they are, just not a very big portion of them. I don't mean to lash out at Reck, it's just gotten annoying hearing "Don't judge Republicans on Trump, a lot of them are good!" At least 4 out of every 5 of them are going to vote for Trump again, and in their mind cheating to win the election is perfectly OK. The Republican Party has become the party of Trump, creating economic crises, and voter suppression. That's all there is to is.
Maybe I shouldn’t have said “most.”
If 10-15 percent of them are actual good people that can be persuaded, we are in good shape in November.
I think there are enough Republicans that are still more terrified of liberal Democrats than they are of Trump to carry him. I think we see the microcosm of it on this board. It's mind numbing.
Depends on what state they're in. I have no doubt a huge chunk of the Republicans in Orange County are going to vote for Biden, but that won't matter.
As much as Karrin claims cases are going down in the Sunbelt, they're starting to e again in the Midwest. We'll see what ramifications that's going to have.
Apparently Republican voters just don't give a about covid any more. Especially since the deaths seem to mostly be happening to minorites and great grandpa that costs money to keep alive in det nursing home.
57% Of Republicans Say Trump Killing Over 170,000 Americans Is Acceptable
https://www.politicususa.com/2020/08/23/republicans-trump-virus-deaths-acceptable.html
How many deaths are acceptable? I asked this months ago and got a song and dance from the left.
Virtue signaling in full swing.
85% of Republicans are bad people. It's good vs evil again, we're back to the year 2001.
Really shouldn't be much of a surprise. The overarching principle of the conservatism is individualism above all else. The way they've handled COVID-19 is just another example of that. They view a lack of compassion and empathy as a virtue, which is why they like Trump so much. Seeing a sociopath who's gone his entire life willing to destroy everything and everyone in his path to get what he wants is their view of strength and leadership.
Capitalism and individualism go hand in hand. When individualism creates negative impact on capitalism, it will self correct unless artificial measures are taken to buff or nerf the effects.
Thanks for the fortune cookie wisdom.
