The last two Republican presidents we’ve had have cratered the country’s economy in ways Democrats never have.
Bush was really a Democrat in the vein of a Bama/Biden; all the same, the housing crisis goes back to Clinton.
And blaming Trump's bad economy on the scamdemic is silly.

I wouldn't. If they're willing to disenfranchise you and lie to you, there's nothing they won't do.
Voting for Trump and Republicans, then?

It’s easy to always be right when you glibly label any politician who s up as someone who’s really from the other party.

I don’t blame Trump’s bad economy on the “scamdemic”, I blame it on Trump.

I think you're unfamiliar with the trend of my posting and just lodged a hostile inference that is incorrect.

AFAIK BLM, like Antifa, hasn't killed anyone.
    Sorry, long day.

Would you prefer Obama is really a Republican? If the wording bothers you that much.

We have a pretend two-party system at this point.

In terms of economic policy and foreign policy I’d definitely consider Obama a moderate Republican. Same with Old Joe. Cornell West had the best description of Obama - a Rockefeller Republican in blackface. His healthcare plan was the same healthcare plan as what Dole was peddling in 1996.

Obama got elected and immediately pivoted towards austerity. Joe Biden is going to do the same thing, but it’s still better than a president who wants to turn the country upside down with more tax cuts and safety net slashing.

You can't have Mike Pompeo and have had Bolton in your administration and pretend to have any moral high ground when it comes to Warmongering

That's not to say Joe is in any better ground when you invite Colin Powell to your convention...

Not to mention appointing a lobbyist for Raytheon as your secretary of defense ( “draining the swamp”)

Austerity if we're not counting all the bailouts and stimulus money maybe.

To his credit, his foreign policy is a lot like Slick Willy... drop a few rockets here and there and do some targeted assassinations...

Obama’s stimulus package was <$1 trillion, dwarfed by Trump’s stimulus package for COVID-19. For a recession of that Great Recession magnitude, a classic liberal would have a stimulus package well into the trillions. The ARRA stimulus was equal to 5% of total 2008 economic output, the New Deal meanwhile was equal to 40% of 1929 economic output.
