This is why I needed the Rockets to advance. That first round series was Chris Paul's championship.
Thunder would've folded like a tent tonight and in this round. Rockets have more weapons to overwhelm the Lakers.
If you want Kawhi to lose(which Spurs fans should want), cheer for Houston, they're the only team that has a chance of challenging the Clippers.

As much as I hate Nephew, this is his league and we're all just along for the ride.
Beverley/Morris will take care of Harden/Westbrook
Clippers would win, but Houston is the only team with a chance, on paper, due to having a superstar and the math if they're hot for a series.
Boston is probably too small and a piece away, Raptors can't score in the halfcourt and while Miami is a cute underdog story, they're 1 big piece away from actually contending.
Rather see him win than AD![]()
As much as I dislike Harden, the Rockets franchise and their fans, watching them win a championship and completely ruin the game of basketball for purists might be worth it
Lakers fans on Twitter were arguing with me that Dwight Howard and Javale Mcgee would be too much for the Rockets lol. LA just doesn't have any talent outside of a Wizards Jordan version of Lebron and soft-ass Anthony Davis.
For me it is all anti LAL and their sense of “mamba” destiny, anything to do with LBJ, and I cannot pull for Davis who absolutely quit on NOP.
Dude Harden owns LeBron
First time I noticed this was in 2015, Harden does what LeBron does offensively except better, Lebron plays better defense but he can't shut Harden down 1 on 1 like he can with Curry, Rose, Westbrook, Parker, CP3 etc. doesn't want ANY part of switching onto him.
It's a big match up advantage for Harden

The Celtics are actually a pretty even matchup with us. They're built similarly and both matchups in the regular season were very close OT games.
2018 Rockets would have swept the 2018 Cavs. No doubt in my mind.
seen this before. lakers will adjust, as usual.
lakers in 6, maybe 5 games if AD grows a pair and if rondo never sees another minute.
see y’all on the clips vs lakers playoffs thread in a couple of weeks.
playoff bron>*
Yeah... about that:
Rockets could have beaten the Warriors if they had traded that scrub Capela sooner.
Rondo - fail - former great defender now average at best and offensive liability but coach fav.
Davis soft and has not stepped up past playoffs (besides quitting on NOP)
LeBron getting old and could not lead LAL to playoffs last year
Best defender on perimeter not in bubble
Kuzma is very over-rated and streaky
Tired act of seeming they really cared about Bryant so
Howard has enough kids to fill an NFL fantasy draft
Vogel is probably at the end of the day mediocre at best and out coached by a coach who plays a midget lineup and isolation offenses.
LAL fan what then could possibly go wrong?
i need bron to slap the out of vogel. makes zero sense to insert rondo at this point.
AD need to stop being a trick ass hoe. always grimacing, settling for ISO fadeaway jumpers.
i miss the spaniard.
It the Rockets speed you cannot easily prepare for LaRoid James says:

Go Rockets!

How is playing center going to change anything. He's still being guarded by a midget.
The notion that this season was "wide open" and "anything can happen in the bubble" were myths. It was over when S bag/George pulled what they did and they fortified themselves at the trade deadline/buy out period.
Lakers/Rockets and whoever comes out of the East will give them a pseudo compe ive series like the Mavs did, then S bag will be crowned by the media, while they overlook the context as usual. The end.
It'd allow them to play a more modern lineup, with Kuzma as the nominal "PF". He can't really shoot or defend on the perimeter, but he's still a clear upgrade in either area from McGee.
Agreed with everything you said. #2 will be sucked off by the media the next few years until he finally loses in the playoffs.
Agreed. Can't believe my fandom has come to this...lol
Anthony Davis needs more than 16 shots a game in this series. He has to be the focal point offensively. There is no reason why anyone on the Rockets should even bother him.
Also, if Eric Gordon keeps outscoring LeBron, the Lakers have no chance![]()
Lebron loses a ton of game 1's. I don't know why. Lakers fans shouldn't be worried yet.
