Hard to defend Siakam if he doesn't even want the ball at the end of the game and instead let that pudge piddle around with the ball.

What the actual ? Fred van Vleet just dribbled out the entire clock and shot an airball with 10 seconds left in game 7. It's almost like he was trying to sabotage the team. Holy

Toronto didn't play it smart. They should have gone for the quick 2.
Was this a weed game? Brain-dead Toronto.

Good series. lEastern conference now the legit conference with LeNBA on the fake ass LakeShow. Can't wait to watch Jimmy B, Bam and all them shooters face off vs. the Celtics D in the ECF. AFAIK NBA doesn't have a dog in that fight so the best team will win and it will hopefully be evenly called. That will be the real basketball finals before Lakers get ref'd to the ring.

You'd think with the C's having a young nucleus they'd see the storied Boston Celtics as an opportunity. But history says otherwise. If anything, they'll go with sexy South Beach.

They got no Kawhi this year tbh. That wouldve been Lowry if he didnt foul out. Siakam just isn't ready for that rn tbh

I wouldve love to see them with a healthy Gordon Hayward and Horford from last year. If all healthy with that coach that wouldve been Toronto level last year

I don't think it'll be as close as you think. The Heat are just as good a defense as Boston and will be well-rested. Heat take it in 5 games, maybe 6 since Tatum is the best player in the series.

Hope Heat take game 1, that's a must win game 1 for them. If Boston wins game 1 with all their playoff experience that's a wrap

Toronto almost knocked out Boston despite having zero stars. And as bad/dumb as they played, they still took the Celtics down to the wire, which leads me to conclude that the Celts are over-rated.

Marcus Smart is the MVP of the Celtics. He single-handily won game 2 and that clutch block on Powell will go down as one of the best playoff blocks of all time

Celtics have the worse bench in the bubble due to Hayward’s injury & Kanter being unplayable against elite PnR teams.

Tatum got a little bit of Kawhi to him...
Must be that Mamba Academy training.
I believe Jordan and bird benefited from Kobe’s training as well.

So, you agree that tyFO dropped the ball considering the Clippers got a better haul for a TOSB max contract

So, now Kawhi “lowered his value” so the Raptors would get to keep their FUTURE 1st rd picks (Let’s not forget OG’s contribution from the hospital bed too)

Btw, Raptors would gladly have dumped Powell b/c he was considered as a bad contract before his BFF Kawhi showed him the ropes. At the end of the day, tyFO had their eyes set the mediocrity captain that is DeFrozen as Siakam wasn’t exactly a household name until Kawhi had him looking like a combination on James Worthy/Pippen.
If they could have got the Davis haul, they would have, genius.

? Your spin never ends. I'm well aware of what Powell's value was at the time and S bag didn't show anyone anything. He was a talented, erratic player who improved his shooting and finally figured out less was more. Siakam had an excellent second season and was clearly on the rise.

Yeah, a pitiful person like Pop would have traded Kawhi to the Lakers considering that he still holds a grudge due to the Pau trade

Powell/Siakam literally said themselves that being around Kawhi helped them with the mental aspect of the game, Siakam was out there looking like DeFrozen 2.0 without an alpha to hold his hands.

It didn't have to be them specifically. I meant commensurate value.

Of course they did. They were probably asked a leading question, then gave a cliche answer. Siakam was over extended as a go-to guy.
