The ump even tried to gift it to LA with all those bull strike calls, and they still couldn’t take it home

Exactly. Count should have been 3-0.

Need to see the replay of the full play, but it looked like Taylor was super casual in his approach towards fielding that hit.

That play is so satisfying to watch over and over. Instant classic a la Bill Buckner, Cubs headphones guy etc

I'm not really mad about the errors, the game was lost before that play when dip Roberts once again trusted his lover Kenley Jansen to close out a high leverage playoff game. ty 91mph cutters don't scare anyone. You need swing-and-misses from your closers, and what gets that is velocity. Graterol should've closed.

How does Kenley Jansen still have a job? Is there a worse closer in MLB postseason history?

Over an extended run, I can't think of any. Aroldis Chapman has been pretty , but Kenley is still a tier above.

Ha did not notice Janson not backing up. That could have made a difference.
In fairness though it’s the last play of the game and a falling down runner is unlikely.
    Still it’s automatic
Pitcher backs up home on a play at the plate.
