GOPers should thank their lucky stars that Biden was the opponent. He's not that far from them ideologically. If Biden makes it through the 1st term so Harris doesn't take over, I cannot imagine much in the way of change in the next 4 years, especially if congress isn't controlled well by either party and given the imbalance on the supreme court.

yeah, the GOP picked up house seats this cycle and held serve in the Senate, Mitch is going to block anything liberal coming from Biden/Harris and/or Pelosi. Going to be 2015-2016 redux

Obama was definitely a sensational media topic and a celebrity, but it wasn't nearly as negative-tilted as Trump.

W Bush was the last time we had a non-celebrity, presidential president who wasn't a topic day in and day out.
