Like... balancing the budget. Cut excess spending, including en lements and military offensive spending. Also, with healthcare, maybe a public option. No free college, but maybe regulations on the way too expensive prices university students face today. Lots of issues. Raise interest rates to help balance the budget. No more deficit spending. Run surpluses like in the Clinton admin in the late 90s. Now THAT's Making America Great Again. #MAGA

Could be a pleasant surprise. But Mitch won't confirm any left of center SCOTUS judges. It'll have to be another Justice Roberts type at best.

It's 48 if they don't win any GA runoff election. Not a chance Susan Collins switches over, she's a Bush era Republican with deep GOP roots (it's why she was never going to vote against Kavanaugh). Same thing with Romney.

Maybe offer Pat Toomey a cabinet position on gun violence so Wolf can pick his replacement. Toomey already said he's not running again in 2022.

no... 52-48... as NC is Tillis, Alaska is GOP and both Georgia's will almost certainly be GOP. Peters should hang on in MI by a hair.

Apparently he doesn't but it's just always been agreed upon that the minority leader doesn't bring something up for a vote. Schumer broke that rule a month ago when he put something up for a vote about Barr withdrawing the Obamacare lawsuit.

Either way doesn't matter because they won't get enough Republicans for a 60 vote filibuster majority on any bills. Their only shot was winning a majority and nuking the filibuster.

not really. if he holds 78% that will net him about 700k of the 900k votes, which would have him winning by 200k. margin doesnt have to be quite that big. realistically needs to get about 70%
