Silver needs to get over it. It's not his fault the polls were off, but they clearly were, particularly the congressional district polls.

but how are you supposed to account for the statistical anomaly that is Trump?

All these people that didn’t vote for trump, still voted the ideology down the ballot. They all still blindly support the ideology. they may be tired of trump, but they want the same things he does

I'm not sure where all the absentee voters are but I know 7,500 of them are in Clayton County which is the most Dem County in the state, those should be like 90+% in favor of Biden.
I'm becoming more confident about GA by the hour and I was already reasonably confident before any votes were counted.

Donald is so ed there. I would be surprised if he won it at this point.

Because if it gets big enough, MI won't do a recount.
IIRC, Stein had to pay for the recount.

Does the candidate demanding a state recount pay for it? (state must ask Trash for 100% cost up front)

Can a candidate (or a judge) force a state to recount? or is recounting the state's option?

doesnt it get harder and harder to get district-specific polling? the amount of people who respond to polls is negligible as it is.

I'm not saying Silver needed to account for anything, he's said all along that the polls might be off but his model isn't going to assume they were just because of one time in 2016.

He just looks ridiculous right now claiming the polls weren't wrong. They clearly were.

In 2016 the congressional district polls were the ones that were accurate which is why I mention those. This year they were even more wrong than the state/national polls were.

Don't see it. A bulk of the votes remaining are Dem. The math is looking increasingly iffy for Trump.

Seriously how the is it taking this long? GA shouldn't need an entire day to process the remaining ~60k ballots.

Exactly! And GA is ours too.

lol Really though Biden doesn't need it. 100% chance at least one of AZ and NV is Biden's. Once PA flips game over.

Math is a bit in Biden's favor in GA.

Too close for any certainty. Literally 50/50

It almost like these states are holding up on purpose so they can say the Presidency went through them. They have been almost done GA since last night lol

I don't think there's any agenda or conspiracy, IMO it's just pure incompetency plus our elections being under resourced and using ancient technology. There are still parts of Maine that count ballots by hand
