It's possible, but here's why I think it's unlikely. Trump is first and foremost all about money. He stands to become the biggest public figure in the country after his presidency ends. He'll either parlay that into the largest contract in television history for some rightwing Trump variety show on the likes of Fox (not buying Fox is "done with him) or he'll create his own Trump TV network. He'll barnstorm the country preaching the MAGA gospel to his cult, charging the highest speaking fees ever. He'll probably get a 100 million dollar book deal. He'll have all the money, power, and adoration he craves without having the stress of being the president of a world superpower.

The sting of losing will wear off and the money will start talking to him. I think people who have this idea that Trump will run again in 2024 in order to win the presidency again to soothe his ego are wrong. The stress just isn't worth it at 78 when there's a fun and easy billion dollar grift as the alternative.
