Well excellent.
My example used reptiles.
Do you understand the point?
And the pig thing is a matter of size and the fact they are mammals both of which are important.
A smart person can do something stupid. It doesn't make that person stupid. Calling Ben Carson dumb is really reaching, especially if you're Blake.

Biden isn't the Pope or Catholic church.
Oh well how bout that. Thanks for the insight.
He is Catholic.
If he goes by the Catholic Church view, then this is where he sits.
You can tell him he was not elected Pope. Im sure he will be surprised.

This is November, not March. If you're a doctor to boot, and you still knowingly play these stupid games, you're ridiculously dumb.
"Carson told The Washington Post on Monday that he caught coronavirus "probably somewhere, out there in the universe" but added that he could not be sure of when he was exposed.
"I was on a bus tour last week. I was at the White House on election night, so there are multiple possibilities," he said, according to the Post....."

it's always funny to watch DMC go into spin mode like this tho
You tell him, you just got the news obviously.
So he cannot have contracted it while wearing a mask?
Or are you saying if he ever went without one, it must have been that time?
Or are you saying if he ever removed his mask, he deserved it regardless of when he got it?
What are you saying, Blake?
I'm saying he's dumb. How are you grossly misreading what I'm saying that badly to infer all of that?
It's always sad to see simpletons like you pretend the ROTW thinks like you.
You're pretty dumb.
you can be an atheist and still engage in christian apologencia if you are doing so to defend a conservative figure. this is right next to "i cant be racist because i'm black"
i think you can be a theist and still believe in evolution. not every christian/theist is a young earth creationist. if you believe in that stuff despite having having been exposed to and learned of the prevailing scientific theory on the subject, then you know whats right and are doing the wrong thing anyhow
I got the news he was Pope?
Thanks to the editor of TIME magazine.
who would have known without DMCirleOfTrust.
You must enjoy being mocked.
Keep going old man.

This is where some theists who believe in Evolution started the intelligent design thing.
If you dont believe in evolution you believe every living thing was specially created.
An intelligent design believer will just let evolution play out as God's mechanism. With the caveat we were meant to be here and we are the ultimate purpose of God, the intelligent designer.
not really. intelligent design is literally creationism except it doesnt specifically invoke the christian bible. it still rejects evolution and says species were created more or less in their current form. but not by "god"... by some "intelligent designer" whoever that may be
was exposed as creationism in disguise in federal court, in fact.

Ive talked to the wrong intelligent designers then.
The Christians I know who believe evolution occurred say it was always a part of gods plan, but that new species arise from other species. I guess one could say a miracle occurred when one species split into two species, one of which was like the original but the other very different (or one of the many other versions as well). There are so many thoughts on the mechanisms of speciation, but it still ultimately is driven by a plan I guess. And there are different types of speciation so this can get very muddled.
Or I guess one could say a modified version of intelligent design exists.
Evolution basically says you are derived from your ancestors and not specially created. So I dont know how that works in with an over all miraculous plan that employs natural selection and other biological mechanisms.

thats what most scientist who hold onto their christian faith believe... they make room for prevailing scientific theory. but that's not "intelligent design" per se
Thomism assigns different objects to faith and science, they vary schematically. Faith takes belief and and science takes reason. There's a refuge, if a squishy one, for science in mainline RC.
(Of course, Thomism also theorizes the harmony of faith and reason, the priors sort of guarantee it.)
It did not sound like it based on the case you put up.
that case is not representative of "most scientists"
that case was about fundamentalist christians in the area trying to shoehorn creationism into the science classroom under the guise of "intelligent design" to avoid first amendment issues
Hes Einstein without the Physics skills![]()
