I would rather pay to improve 41 than to move down.
Read that Dallas wants to move up. Thoughts on flipping 11 for 18 and 31?
I would rather pay to improve 41 than to move down.
that noise. Cuban can go suck a .
The ringer released their team needs article list today for the draft, they recommended Jaden Mcdaniels, Tyrese Maxey, and Saddiq Bey for the spurs at 11 lol
No one is taking Jaden McDaniels in the lottery, but he’s intriguing for the second round pick if his character issues are not as bad as believed. But it is weird they didn’t have Patrick Williams as a suggestion.
My order if SA drafts 11th:
Patrick Williams
Toppin
Nesmith
Vassell
That order
I'm still on the Kira Lewis bandwagon. I know that I've been all over the place for this draft but my feet have firmly landed on us drafting a point guard. I like Lewis bc of his speed, ability to beat people off the dribble, and his jumper is pretty good. I wouldn't mind us drafting Hayes either since I'm on the point guard train
I honestly wouldn’t mind us drafting a PG but if we do we gotta get rid of some of the guys imo
If we stay at 11 my draft order would probably be... (Unless somebody unexpectedly falls)
1. Jalen Smith
2. Precious A.
3. Isaac Okoro
4. Patrick Williams
I'm hoping to get rid of Forbes, Patty, Marco, and DDR. That should open up the space to make DJ the shooting guard. Derrick the PG. KJ the 3. LMA the 4 and Poetl the 5. Bench of Eubanks, Lyles, Lonnie, Lewis, and Gay
With P. Will apparently making his way into the top 10 of latest mocks, Okoro is looking like the guy who might be bumped out.
Assuming Spurs hold firm at 11, an interesting choice to be made if Spurs are going BPA and that pertains to wings, who do you choose out of Okoro, Nesmith, Vassell, Bey (consensus BPAs)?
I would throw RJ Hampton, Bane, McDaniels into the mix too.
No Okoro.
No shorties.
I kind of agree but let’s be real if he’s better then our shortys on the team even better
The ringer Podcast today said the spurs are interested in Patrick Williams and Jaden McDaniels
I wonder if the workout with Adivja was not so much about the Spurs having interest in him as their pick, more so how does the projected consensus #1 wing compare to who the Spurs believe is the #1 wing in the draft...
Bull ? Link? I havent watched Jaden at all because of the concerns about his character.
not sure how to link it lol I don’t buy it either but Kevin O Connor said it and he’s a pretty credible reporter. On the podcast they discuss it around the 26:00-26:30 mark
I'd rather any of Vassell, Nesmith or Bey ahead of Okoro.
That relative lack of size (for a projected 3.5) combined with that lack of shooting (67% from the line, often an indicator of future success or lack thereof from 3) makes me think the second coming of Winslow.
Unless you're a rim running center, it's difficult to avoid being a net negative if you can't shoot in today's game, especially for a player who'll more than likely never be more than a secondary creator/play maker.
Not gonna lie lol #11 is to early for him I think but Jaden Mcdaniels is intriguing, watched a recent video of him being interviewed by ESPNs Mike Schmidt and he interviewed pretty well
He's so skinny though and in a way, reminds me of Kyle Anderson due to his fluidity. I don't think 11th would be a good spot for him either
It’s funny, just a few days ago I started thinking that the spurs might look at Jaden McDaniels because he fits their profile in a sense. But is he one of the 10 players they have seen in person? Lots of noise, too. Could be another distraction.
Some combine measurements

Freaking sweet! Finally!!!! Thanks
I'm really pleased with Jalen Smith's and Woodard's measurables... Perry was a little better than I expected as well...
