You fear the vaccine will do worse?
Is it the Bill Gates vaccine tho? Only that one has da microchips and works, imo
You fear the vaccine will do worse?
City’s super dead. I wouldn’t recommend.
9PM is considered to be like wee hours around here these days. Can be highly depressing.
I'm not conspiracy or anti-vax. I just think the vaccine should be prioritized to most vulnerable.
And I don't think people who have had covid are vulnerable.
Does Texas allow for restaurants and bars to stay opened past 10 or something?
If you hang tight in LA a mandatory vaccine will be right around the corner. You think Newsom wants to be out done by Cuomo?
Says the guy who kept saying we were at herd immunity in Texas
wow, that's crazy. I miss the city though... it's nuts but when I used to live 40 mins away from it I never visited, but now that it's far, I want to stop by.
He said NY was "out of fuel" too.
I think prioritizing the most-vulnerable makes sense. IIRC, England is doing that right now.
I think I said NYC was probably near herd immunity.
I was joking obviously. I have no problem getting the vaccine whenever it's available, tbh... just had a flu one a couple weeks ago.
They are about to shut down bars, again. Restaurants are open.
You can keep a bar open, as long as you serve fries, or some . Makes no sense.
You said the virus had "no fuel" there....
....in June.
Nope, you declared we'd turned the corner in August. Did not specify NYC.
All the masks. All the plexiglass. Just speed bumps for this virus. I'm sure they help -- a little bit.
Fine. Quote me.
Here's what he said when he blamed protests for new cases on June 27:
We've managed the caseload so badly that it doesn't make any sense to target hotspots to curb transmission. Too many hotspots, not enough vaccines.
You said we were over and over too based on your conspiracy theory that only a small fraction of the population had to be infected because many of us were already magically immune to catching a novel virus somehow
If some percentage of the population has cross-immunity to covid-19 (which I believe to be true), how the is that a conspiracy?
How many times did you e the football saying pandemic over out here based on that conspiracy theory?
What's the conspiracy? Some people's T-cells conspired to defeat a virus?![]()
We should be able to agree that based on the data, the most vulnerable are a heightened risk and should move to the front of the line. We're talking saving lives at this point, not containment.
Not enough vaccines is a different issue, however, and that's certainly more debatable as far as what went wrong. Similarly, there should not be business immunity until the vast majority of Americans have access to this vaccination.
The somewhat infuriating part is that people that can afford it can probably go to another country and get it, which is also another indictment on American healthcare access.
