After the shortest and weirdest offseason in Spurs history, the Silver & Black return to the AT&T Center for the first time since March 10th.
They'll be facing off with an Oklahoma City Thunder squad which will look drastically different from their last meeting. The Thunder surprised a lot of people last season by making the playoffs, but they've lost their leader in Chris Paul as well as long-time Viking Steven Adams. OKC is loaded with draft picks and looks pretty secure for the future, but unless those draft picks can find a way to put on sneakers, they aren't expected to be in the mix of compe ors this season.
This will be the first chance we'll have to see how the Spurs' play from the bubble transfers over to this new season, and get a glimpse of the fast-paced offense they have been talking about all training camp. It will be interesting to see how LaMarcus fits into the mix since he didn't play in the bubble due to shoulder surgery. We will also hopefully get our first glimpses of the new rookies, and see if some of the sop res like Luka or Weatherspoon are looking to take the next step.
Spurs Basketball is back!

I hope those guys that got signed come in swinging.
Cheers Dex for starting this.
No Jumbotron feed tonight!
Anyone know if this is on league pass?
Wonder what the starting lineup will be tonight. With white and Johnson out I’m hoping it’s something like:
murray
walker
Vassell
DD
LMA
but good chance it’s
Murray
mills
DD
lyles
LMA
According to NBA.com, it's being broadcast on FSSW-SA and OKCThunder.com.
Not sure if League Pass will pick it up or not, but I would think it is likely since there will be multiple TV feeds.
In this video,
Players are grouped in threes for the drills:
Luka, Devin, DeMar
Aldridge, Gay, Lyles
Patty, Tre, Dejounte
Sign of which position they're going to play? At least while players are out...
Interested in how Murray can/cannot successfully run the point.
No more he’s still young excuses. Put up or move to the 2.
What video?
Ace's video above
Don't see it

Nope a lap top.
No worries.
Thanks man.
Just the fact that we got rid of Curry Jr. and Stallone got me half errect. I'm really looking forward to this season.
Appropriate match up - one organization that by all pundits is doing everything right in a rebuild in Thunder vs. the hack job over last several years that the FO of the Spurs has done. Spurs still have some talent nevertheless but the future is brighter in OKC.
What a .
