That’s a low bar. KBD looks too slow to stay with traditional 3s so may have to play at the 4. He and Trey Lyles have similar profiles (tweeners)

Tbh, I'm mostly mad that it seems Pop is still stuck in his old ways (and yes, I know this should come as no surprise). Overtrusting Mills and playing him in a role he's not fit for, over young players who are (yes, Jones is a rookie, but so is Vassell and there he was, playing); overusing old vets who won't be on the team next season (let's hope); that sort of stuff. I can appreciate him playing Vassell early, KBD is a wash since I can't see Pop trusting him long term. Overall, it just reeks too much of last season's Spurs for my liking, TBH.

E: of course, we'll see what he does when White and Keldon are ready. This isn't a season-long condemning (though I'm definitely less hopeful now than I was yesterday).

It's shocking how low derozan and rudy defensive basketball IQ is. Somehow Vassell is already a smarter defender in them and he has been in the nba for all of 5 minutes...
