Yeah and the Jets already have a top 10 - overall drafted QB on his rookie contract and it's not like Darnold is gonna command 30M+ a year especially with the cap taking a dip in the near future. Wouldn't make sense for the NYJ to draft him, but if he comes out they will and his career will be shot before it has a chance, like you said.
Jaguars don't have a day 1 or 2 draft talent quarterback on the roster so QB is obviously their biggest position of need, but if the Jets don't win a game that week 1 win against the Colts will come back and bite them in the ass; who would've thunk.
