    Let's say the Chiefs lose to the Saints next week, and then them and Steelers go undefeated the rest of the way, who gets the first seed? Both would have 1 conference loss without having played each other. What's the tiebreaker there?

    Common opponents, since they both have enough common games played

    KC beat Buffalo and Buffalo beat PIT, no other common game losses for either side. So KC wins.
