this appears to be what was described months ago about the two-immune system
The first shot (infection) gets reaction from the non-specific innate immune system, while the acquired immune system is not activated
The immune system then starts "acquiring" specific immunity so when the second shot arrives, the acquired immune aggressively attacks and you feel it.
It's the "cytokine storm" of the acquired immune system that puts people in ICU and kills them.![]()
