Who would you rather have?
Siakam is a glorified role player himself, who was shut down by Brown (and to a lesser extent Smart) in the ECSF's.
Besides, the Raptors are long overdue for their luck to run out.
Who would you rather have?
this dude is eclipsing Kawhi now as biggest pussy
If you want a trade, say it. Demand it. This passive aggressive is bull and things children do
I'm not sure. Most would reflexively say Siakam and he's definitely better currently, but the gap isn't as wide as the perception is and at 4 months shy of 27, he's closer to his ceiling than Brown, who's roughly 2.5 years younger.
With Simmons off the table, if I'm the Rockets I'm watching James Wiseman pretty closely and if he looks good the first 3-4 games I'm offering the Warriors Harden for him. Much rather take a gamble on a star talent than get a few ok players and have my ceiling be #8 seed in the West.
I'd rather have the Heat's package than Wiseman tbh, considering this league has become much more guard/wing-oriented. Now if the Dubs offer a boatload of picks and pick swaps I'd reconsider.
The Heat's package is a bunch of quarters for a dollar unless it involves Adebayo. If Wiseman shows he can play in this league in a few games I'll take the gamble over the certain mediocrity.
Even if he shows he can play its still a huge gamble. I'm also sure the Heat would throw in draft picks down the line that could be top picks when they come around.
I'll take the gamble over the guaranteed crushing loss though. Herro had a nice run in the bubble but under normal conditions in the regular season he was a below average player. Not enough upside for me in a deal centered around him when Wiseman is loaded with upside. And if he busts you have traded mediocrity for tanking, and tanking is preferable anyways IMO.
Houston doesn't have any draft picks tbh, so tanking doesn't really help them. You can always reroute Herro/Nunn for picks/better-fitting pieces. Like I said though, for me it'd come down to what the Heat/Dubs offer in terms of picks as well.
, I forgot they gave away a bunch of their picks to OKC. They're completely ed.
Might as well just trade Harden to Sacramento and see if you can get some good firsts in exchange.![]()
, you could prolly get Hield/Fox and picks for Harden. Only problem is Harden would kill that trade before it could happen by telling the Kings he'd never play for them. Kings might still be re ed enough to pull the trigger though.
And Kings could say you, we won't pay you but we'll still hold your rights![]()
Then they lose young pieces/players for nothing. Its one thing for Houston to do it since it'd be lose/lose but the Kings would themselves further since I could absolutely see Harden taking this season off in that scenario.
Naw we got some picks back after Morey left. Got a first rounder for Covington and a few more picks back
You don't have your own picks I mean. If y'all tank it just helps OKC and whoever else has your draft picks going forward.
And Miami is lying. They are still talking and interested. Bam (can’t be traded until March I think)Butler and Dragic are the only ones safe from trade talk.
Miami's dumb if they trade for Harden, that team just made the Finals. You keep that core together for now.
If Bam can actually be traded he needs to be on the table period
If Miami adds another first down the line I might take that package. Teams were lining up to trade for Iggy just a few months ago and you might be able to flip Olynyk for a late first/early second as well.
Riles loves Bam Bam. I'd be absolutely shocked if he trades him.
