The good guys by 20.
Anything but a W would be disappointing. Raptors are starting Aaron Baynes, so LaMarcus should have a field day. OG Anounoby can't shoot 3s and they are playing an 8-man rotation with DeMar's dunk victim Chris Boucher being the 8th man. Van Vleet will be the PG for the bench and he's terrible at running point. Spurs should get the W here. Pressure Van Vleet, play some zone and let OG shoot and go at Baynes. We should get a lot of easy buckets near the rim.
Most interesting match up that I'm looking forward to: Big Body vs. Siakam
Demar has been good against his ex-team. And with the momentum from last night’s win, the Spurs by 8.
ESPN has them a 72%/28% dog. Playing at home. To a Toronto team without two of it's starting or main role players from last season. That just got rolled by NO.
Man oh man, the disrespect across the league for the Spurs is real.
I can watch this over and over. Poor Jonas lol
iirc he did the same thing in the second half and bodied his ass at the rim and scored on him and let out a nice RAARGGGHHHHH!!! i love the intenisty this kid plays with man, so refreshing to see this instead of a defensive turnstile bricking threes and clapping his hands/rubbing his heels after every blown possession![]()
Great write up thanks
For me KJ vs Siakam is the game within a game that I'm interested in.
wonder if Pop will keep with the same starting lineup or not.
are there any teams that even run two bigs anymore? Spurs can probably get away with DD/KJ in front court against most teams
Siakams length seems like the perfect early test for KJ will be interesting to see how he handles
Few things to look forawrd to;
1. Defense, just how are we able to defend against a much better offensive team.
2. Consitancy
3. Who's the thrird scorer? Demar is going give us 20, LA most nights will give us around 18. but who's gone be the 3rd score? If we can get a constant 15+ scores as our 3rd scorer from the starters, we'll be looking good.
Won't be able to catch the game. Hoping for a W, and a big performance from our Big Body fellah. Go Spurs Go!
Looking forward to seeing how Big Body matches up against Siakam. Strength and Quickness helps mitigate for disparity in length
Does anyone else think Keldon looks an inch taller than last season?? Or my eyes deceiving me?
I like Chris Boucher-- I think he has the potential to be a super sub. Great story too-- dropped out of high school to get a job and help support his family, got famous as a Canadian street baller, went to Junior College, then a D2 Community college, transferred to U of Oregon, then G league MVP and DPOY.

Toronto is a team that's decaying. They are a paper pretender unable to retain their vets and hoping a scant few players like Anunoby can make a leap. A lot of pressure on him, etc. They got a championship out of it, but their better days have past. Meanwhile, we have a huge bite of what the young Spurs are capable of doing.
if u watched him play at uk yes there will be more of this
u need a replay site?
Sure, what is it? Thanks.
Merry Christmas everyone. Hoping for a win but i have to be real, i expect a loss. When you rely on youth, expect ups and downs. Looking at the schedule which is brutal, if we dont win this one i expect a 1-4 record in our next 5 games.
